उत्तर प्रदेश समाचार: उत्तर प्रदेश के गोरखपुर जिले से एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना सामने आई है। यहां मंगलवार की सुबह चिलुआताल थाना क्षेत्र के बरगदवा इलाके में पूर्व पार्षद राजकुमार चौहान की हत्या कर दी गई. हमलावरों का दुस्साहस इतना था कि उन्होंने पहले उसे गोली मारी और फिर चाकू मारकर उसकी जान ले ली. इस सनसनीखेज घटना के बाद पूरे इलाके में तनाव का माहौल बन गया. स्थानीय लोगों में भारी गुस्सा था और घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुंच गई. फिलहाल पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है और कई संदिग्धों को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ कर रही है.

सुबह की सैर के दौरान घेरकर हमला किया गया
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार राजकुमार चौहान मंगलवार की सुबह करीब पांच बजे रोज की तरह घर से टहलने के लिए निकले थे. वह अपने घर से करीब 500 मीटर की दूरी पर ही पहुंचा था कि करीब छह बदमाशों ने उसे घेर लिया। हमलावरों को देखकर राजकुमार जान बचाने के लिए करीब 100 मीटर तक भागा, लेकिन बदमाशों ने उसे नहीं छोड़ा और पकड़ लिया।

पहले गोली मारी और फिर चाकू से कई वार किए
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों और पुलिस के मुताबिक बदमाशों ने सबसे पहले राजकुमार चौहान पर गोली चलाई. इसके बाद भी हमलावर नहीं रुके और उन्होंने चाकू निकालकर उन पर ताबड़तोड़ हमला करना शुरू कर दिया. बताया जा रहा है कि हमलावरों ने उनके सीने और चेहरे पर 20 से ज्यादा बार चाकू से वार किया. हमलावर तब तक मौके पर डटे रहे जब तक यह निश्चित नहीं हो गया कि वह मर चुका है। इसके बाद सभी आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गये.

हत्या के बाद हाईवे जाम
घटना की खबर फैलते ही परिजन और स्थानीय लोग आक्रोशित हो गये. गुस्साए लोगों ने बरगदवा चौराहे पर पहुंचकर प्रदर्शन शुरू कर दिया और गोरखपुर-सोनौली राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग जाम कर दिया। हाईवे जाम होने से सड़क पर वाहनों की लंबी कतार लग गई। स्थिति को नियंत्रित करने के लिए भारी पुलिस बल मौके पर पहुंचा। पुलिस ने हल्का बल प्रयोग कर भीड़ को हटाया और यातायात बहाल कराया।

पुलिस की कार्रवाई और जांच जारी है
मौके पर पहुंचे ज्ञानेंद्र नाथ ने बताया कि घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पूरे इलाके में पुलिस बल तैनात कर दिया गया है. पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए अब तक सात संदिग्धों को हिरासत में लिया है और उनसे पूछताछ की जा रही है. हालांकि, हत्या की असली वजह अभी तक साफ नहीं हो पाई है. पुलिस परिवार के सदस्यों और अन्य लोगों के बयान दर्ज कर रही है। शव को पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया है. पुलिस का कहना है कि जल्द ही इस हत्याकांड का पूरा खुलासा किया जाएगा.
