आठ राउंड फायरिंग करने के बाद आरोपी मौके से भाग गए थे।
जानकारी के मुताबिक, शुक्रवार सुबह करीब 10:15 बजे आरोपी मंजीत चौहान ने सूर्या पर आठ राउंड फायरिंग की थी. इसके बाद वह कॉलेज की पहली मंजिल से कूदकर भाग गया। शाम करीब 5:45 बजे वह अपने पैर का इलाज कराने जा रहा था, तभी मुखबिर की सूचना पर पुलिस ने उसे शिवपुर स्थित रामेश्वर महादेव इंटर कॉलेज के पास से गिरफ्तार कर लिया.
चार साल पुरानी दुश्मनी बनी हत्या की वजह
एडीसीपी वरुणा जोन नीतू कादयान के मुताबिक, मंजीत और सूर्या के बीच करीब चार साल से दुश्मनी थी। दोनों अलग-अलग ग्रुप से जुड़े थे और कई बार झगड़ा भी कर चुके थे। जांच में पता चला है कि सूर्या ने पिछले एक महीने में मंजीत को दो-तीन बार पीटा था। शुक्रवार को असाइनमेंट जमा करने के दौरान दोनों के बीच फिर बहस हुई, जो हत्या तक पहुंच गई.
दूसरे आरोपी की तलाश जारी, पिता ने लगाए गंभीर आरोप
