मामले की शुरुआत जैसलमेर से हुई
यह पूरा मामला जनवरी 2026 में शुरू हुआ, जब जैसलमेर निवासी झाबरा राम को जासूसी के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था. पूछताछ के दौरान झाबरा राम ने सुमित कुमार का नाम सामने रखा. इसके बाद सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने सुमित पर नजर रखनी शुरू की और पर्याप्त सबूत मिलने के बाद उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया.

प्रयागराज में भी जांच तेज, जानकारी में जुटीं एजेंसियां
गिरफ्तारी के बाद राजस्थान पुलिस ने प्रयागराज पुलिस से संपर्क किया और आरोपी के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है. रविवार को एलआईयू और अन्य खुफिया एजेंसियों ने प्रयागराज के लहुरपार इलाके में पहुंचकर सुमित के परिवार और गतिविधियों के बारे में जानकारी जुटाई। हालांकि, स्थानीय पुलिस इस मामले में खुलकर कुछ भी कहने से बच रही है.

पाकिस्तान को गोपनीय जानकारी भेजने का आरोप
शुरुआती जांच में पता चला है कि सुमित कुमार अपने पद का दुरुपयोग कर वायुसेना से जुड़ी गोपनीय सूचनाएं जुटाता था. वह इसकी जानकारी सोशल मीडिया के जरिए पाकिस्तान में बैठे अपने आकाओं तक पहुंचाता था। जांच में कई ऐसी जानकारियां सामने आई हैं जो वह पहले ही भेज चुका था।

जांच जारी, पूरे नेटवर्क की तलाश
