He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthen BRO with the aim of budgetary support, modern equipment and personnel welfare. Established in 1960, BRO has constructed over 64,000 km of roads, 1,179 bridges, 22 airfields and seven tunnels, thereby significantly enhancing operational readiness and socio-economic development in the border areas.

If the Constitution is to have any meaning for an individual, individual conscience must be protected.”The bench said the plea was premature as the instructions stated that the day’s work in school “may commence” with the singing of the national anthem. “It does not violate the right to speak because it does not force anyone. When you are forced (to sing the national anthem) you can approach the court,” it said.

उत्तर प्रदेश समाचार: उत्तर प्रदेश के बरेली जिले से एक चौंकाने वाली घटना सामने आई है, जहां नोएडा जैसी घटना दोहराई गई। मंगलवार देर रात सैटेलाइट बस स्टैंड के पास खुले नाले में एक युवक गिर गया और देर रात तक उसका कोई पता नहीं चल सका। हादसे के वक्त वहां काफी भीड़ थी, तभी अचानक लोगों ने देखा कि युवक सड़क किनारे गहरे नाले में गिरा हुआ है. स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी, जिसके बाद राहत और बचाव कार्य शुरू किया गया.
नगर निगम की लापरवाही आई सामने स्थानीय दुकानदारों और लोगों का कहना है कि नगर निगम की लापरवाही के कारण यह हादसा हुआ है. होली से पहले सफाई अभियान के दौरान नाले के ऊपर लगाए गए स्लैब के ढक्कन हटा दिए गए थे, लेकिन सफाई के बाद इन्हें दोबारा ठीक से नहीं लगाया गया। इसी वजह से कई दिनों तक नाली खुली पड़ी रही, जो इस हादसे का कारण बनी.

हादसा सीसीटीवी फुटेज में कैद हो गया बारादरी थाने के इंस्पेक्टर धनंजय पांडे के मुताबिक, पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे चेक किए। फुटेज में साफ देखा गया कि युवक चलते-चलते अचानक नाले में गिर जाता है. पुलिस को संदेह है कि युवक नशे की हालत में था, जिसके कारण उसे खतरे का आभास नहीं हुआ. फिलहाल उसकी पहचान नहीं हो पाई है.
कई टीमें जुटीं, फिर भी नहीं मिला कोई सुराग घटना के बाद नगर निगम, पुलिस और प्रशासन के साथ एसडीआरएफ और एनडीआरएफ की टीमों को भी मौके पर बुलाया गया. राहत टीमों ने नाले का पानी निकाला और अंदर तलाश शुरू की। एडीएम सिटी, नगर आयुक्त और सीओ पंकज श्रीवास्तव भी मौके पर मौजूद रहे और पूरी कार्रवाई पर नजर रखी, लेकिन देर रात तक युवक का कोई पता नहीं चल सका।

धामी कैबिनेट में प्रस्ताव में कहा गया कि खाद्य नागरिक आपूर्ति एवं उपभोक्ता मामले विभाग के तहत गेहूं और धान की न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य खरीद पर दो फीसदी बाजार शुल्क लिया जाएगा. बताया गया कि पहले ढाई प्रतिशत बाजार शुल्क व उपकर के रूप में लिया जाता था, जिसमें से आधा प्रतिशत उपकर की प्रतिपूर्ति केंद्र सरकार द्वारा की जाती थी, लेकिन करीब तीन साल पहले केंद्र सरकार द्वारा प्रतिपूर्ति बंद कर दी गयी थी. यह शुल्क गेहूं और धान की खरीद पर कमीशन एजेंटों और चावल मिल मालिकों से लिया जाता है।
मंत्रिमंडल ने स्वामी राम हिमालयन विश्वविद्यालय से संबंधित या उससे संबंधित मामलों को प्रदान करने और विनियमित करने के लिए एक क़ानून की घोषणा को मंजूरी दे दी। प्रस्ताव में कहा गया है कि यह मंजूरी उच्च शिक्षा विभाग के तहत उत्तराखंड निजी विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम 2023 की धारा 36 के तहत दी गई है।
