The penalty for allottees is proposed to be increased to 10% of the property price.In another move to decriminalize unauthorized hawking in trains, the government has proposed to amend a section of the Railways Act under which the punishment of one year in jail and a fine of Rs 1,000-2,000 will be changed to a fine of only up to Rs 2,000.

पीड़िता का आरोप है कि शादी के बाद भी आरोपी और उसके परिवार ने अलग-अलग बहाने से पैसे लिए। जब सच्चाई सामने आई तो वे अतिरिक्त दहेज की मांग करने लगे। मांग पूरी न होने पर किशोरी को मानसिक व शारीरिक रूप से प्रताड़ित किया जाने लगा।
