New Delhi: Air India Express’ Boeing 737 Max aircraft carrying 138 people had to make a hard landing in Phuket on Wednesday. The plane, which had taken off from Hyderabad, reportedly bounced once after hard landing and then on second contact with the runway, with both the nose wheels separating. It then got stuck on the runway and the airport was closed to flights until its only runway became available again after necessary checks.Fortunately no one on board the plane was injured. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is in touch with Thai aviation authorities. The plane has been grounded and the airline will send its engineers to repair it. “The aircraft (VT-BWQ) operating Flight IX 938 (Hyderabad-Phuket) was involved in a suspected hard landing with bounce while landing on Runway 09, Phuket. Passengers were deboarded on the runway and taken to the terminal building. The aircraft was towed to the bay. On March 8, 2026, both nose wheels were replaced as routine maintenance. Investigation followed by consultation with Thailand Aviation Investigation Authorities The incident will be handled by the appropriate authority, Thailand being the state,” said a senior DGCA official.An AI Express spokesperson said: “We confirm that our Hyderabad-Phuket flight on March 11 experienced an issue with the nose wheel at Phuket Airport. The crew followed all standard protocols, and guests were deplaned. We thank our guests, Phuket airport authorities and all stakeholders for their cooperation.” The flight with 132 passengers and six crew members had taken off from Hyderabad at 6.23 am and landed at 11.25 am (all times local). A senior B737 captain said: “This is clearly a case of hard landing, with damage to the nose wheel on the second touch down. The best thing would have been for the plane to take off again after bouncing. However only investigation can reveal what really happened. It is also possible that there is a problem with the front wheel of the aircraft. The pilots must have tried their best to make a safe landing.”Experienced pilots say Phuket’s runways have a pronounced slope followed by a downward slope, which can lead to a “winding effect”. बलिया जिले के हल्दी थाना क्षेत्र से एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना सामने आई है. यहां एक 15 वर्षीय किशोर की ईंट से कुचलकर हत्या कर दी गई। इस घटना से पूरे इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई है. मृतक की पहचान रौनक यादव के रूप में की गई है, जो बबुआपुर गांव का रहने वाला था. जानकारी के अनुसार रौनक सोमवार को अपनी मां से यह कहकर घर से निकला था कि वह गांव में जा रही एक बारात में शामिल होने जा रहा है. लेकिन जब वह देर रात तक घर नहीं लौटा तो परिजनों को चिंता होने लगी.

परिजन सुबह तक खोजबीन करते रहे
मंगलवार की सुबह जब ग्रामीण बारात से लौट आये और रौनक घर नहीं पहुंचा तो परिजनों ने उसकी खोजबीन शुरू की. परिजनों ने बारात में शामिल अन्य लोगों से भी पूछताछ की, लेकिन किसी को रौनक के बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं थी. इससे परिवार की चिंता बढ़ गई और गांव के लोग भी खोजबीन करने लगे।

गांव से कुछ ही दूरी पर एक बाग में शव मिला
खोजबीन के दौरान मंगलवार की सुबह करीब आठ बजे गांव से करीब 250 मीटर दूर बाग में एक किशोर का शव पड़ा होने की सूचना मिली। मौके पर पहुंचकर शव की पहचान की गई तो वह रौनक यादव का निकला। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और परिजन मौके पर पहुंच गए। स्थानीय लोगों के मुताबिक रौनक के सिर और कान के पास गंभीर चोट के निशान थे. अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है कि किसी ने ईंट से मारकर उसकी हत्या कर दी है. पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया और मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी.

परिजनों ने गांव के लोगों पर शक जताया है
घटना के बाद मृतक के परिजनों ने गांव के ही दो परिवारों पर हत्या का शक जताया है. इस सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने अपनी जांच तेज कर दी और संदिग्ध लोगों की तलाश शुरू कर दी. पुलिस इलाके की जांच करती रही.

24 घंटे के अंदर मुठभेड़ में आरोपी गिरफ्तार
पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए 24 घंटे के अंदर ही मुख्य आरोपी मनोज यादव को मुठभेड़ के दौरान गिरफ्तार कर लिया. पुलिस को मुखबिर से सूचना मिली थी कि आरोपी इलाके में मौजूद है. जब पुलिस टीम ने उसे पकड़ने की कोशिश की तो उसने पुलिस पर फायरिंग कर दी और भागने की कोशिश की. पुलिस की जवाबी कार्रवाई में आरोपी गोली लगने से घायल हो गया और उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया. फिलहाल पुलिस मामले की आगे की जांच कर रही है.

मुजफ्फरनगर पुलिस निरीक्षण इसके तहत जिले में सुदृढ़ कानून व्यवस्था बनाये रखने के उद्देश्य से पुलिस प्रशासन द्वारा लगातार निगरानी एवं निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया जा रहा है. इसी क्रम में पुलिस अधीक्षक ग्रामीण मो -आदित्य बंसल शनिवार को थाना तितावी, पुलिस चौकी बघरा एवं तितावी टोल प्लाजा औचक निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने पुलिस व्यवस्था, अभिलेखों के रख-रखाव, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और ड्यूटी पर तैनात कर्मियों की कार्यप्रणाली को बारीकी से देखा।

निरीक्षण के दौरान पुलिस अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को कानून व्यवस्था बनाये रखने के साथ-साथ आम जनता की सुरक्षा को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देने के निर्देश दिये गये। इस औचक निरीक्षण का उद्देश्य पुलिस की कार्यप्रणाली को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाना तथा क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को मजबूत करना था.

थाना तितावी का सघन निरीक्षण

मुजफ्फरनगर पुलिस निरीक्षण सबसे पहले पुलिस अधीक्षक ग्रामीण आदित्य बंसल तितावी थाने पहुंचे, जहां उन्होंने थाना परिसर का विस्तार से निरीक्षण किया. इस दौरान थाना कार्यालय, अभिलेखों के रख-रखाव, मालगोदाम, हवालात, शस्त्रागार समेत अन्य प्रशासनिक व्यवस्थाओं का बारीकी से अवलोकन किया गया.

उन्होंने थाने के अभिलेखों की स्थिति का अवलोकन करते हुए अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि सभी अभिलेखों को व्यवस्थित एवं अद्यतन रखें ताकि किसी भी स्थिति में सूचना तत्काल उपलब्ध हो सके। इसके अलावा लंबित आवेदनों के त्वरित निस्तारण पर भी विशेष जोर दिया गया.

एसपी ग्रामीण ने यह भी कहा कि थाना स्तर पर प्राप्त होने वाली शिकायतों का समयबद्ध एवं निष्पक्ष निस्तारण होना चाहिए, जिससे पुलिस के प्रति जनता का विश्वास और मजबूत हो सके।

साफ-सफाई एवं व्यवस्था पर विशेष ध्यान दें

निरीक्षण के दौरान थाना परिसर की साफ-सफाई एवं व्यवस्था का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। अधिकारियों को थाना परिसर में साफ-सफाई एवं अनुशासन बनाये रखने का निर्देश दिया गया.

उन्होंने कहा कि थाने का वातावरण व्यवस्थित एवं स्वच्छ होना चाहिए, ताकि वहां आने वाले लोगों को बेहतर अनुभव हो सके और पुलिस की कार्यप्रणाली में पारदर्शिता आ सके.

बघरा पुलिस चौकी का भी निरीक्षण किया

पुलिस अधीक्षक ग्रामीण द्वारा थाना तितावी का निरीक्षण कर निरीक्षण किया गया -आदित्य बंसल द्वारा पुलिस चौकी बघरा निरीक्षण भी किया। यहां पहुंचकर उन्होंने डाकघर, रिकार्ड और ड्यूटी पर तैनात पुलिस बल की मौजूदगी की जांच की।

मुजफ्फरनगर पुलिस निरीक्षण दौरे के दौरान उन्होंने चौकी स्तर पर हो रही पुलिस गतिविधियों की जानकारी ली और अधिकारियों को क्षेत्र में नियमित गश्त जारी रखने के निर्देश दिये.

उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस का मुख्य उद्देश्य जनता की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना है। इसके लिए नियमित गश्त, संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों पर निगरानी और संवेदनशील इलाकों पर विशेष नजर रखना जरूरी है.

तितावी टोल प्लाजा पर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की जांच

मुजफ्फरनगर पुलिस निरीक्षण इसी क्रम में पुलिस अधीक्षक ग्रामीण आदित्य बंसल भी तितावी टोल प्लाजा पर पहुंचे। यहां उन्होंने टोल प्लाजा परिसर में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की कार्यप्रणाली की जांच की और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का जायजा लिया.

टोल प्लाजा जैसे महत्वपूर्ण स्थानों पर सुरक्षा बेहद महत्वपूर्ण मानी जाती है, क्योंकि यहां से हर दिन बड़ी संख्या में वाहन गुजरते हैं। ऐसे में किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि पर नजर रखना जरूरी है.

एसपी ग्रामीण ने टोल कर्मियों से बात कर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था संबंधी जानकारी ली और आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश भी दिए।

वाहनों की चेकिंग और सुरक्षा पर जोर दिया गया

निरीक्षण के दौरान टोल प्लाजा से गुजरने वाले वाहनों की भी जांच की गयी. इस दौरान ड्यूटी पर तैनात पुलिसकर्मियों और पीआरवी कर्मियों को टोल प्लाजा जैसे संवेदनशील स्थानों पर विशेष सतर्कता बरतने के निर्देश दिए गए.

उन्होंने कहा कि संदिग्ध गतिविधियों या व्यक्तियों की पहचान होने पर तत्काल कार्रवाई की जाए और आवश्यकता पड़ने पर उच्च अधिकारियों को भी सूचित किया जाए।

यातायात व्यवस्था सुचारू बनाए रखने के निर्देश

मुजफ्फरनगर पुलिस निरीक्षण इस दौरान एसपी ग्रामीण ने यह भी निर्देश दिया कि टोल प्लाजा और आसपास के इलाकों में यातायात व्यवस्था सुचारू रखी जाए.

उन्होंने कहा कि यातायात प्रबंधन में किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही नहीं होनी चाहिए। सड़क पर चलने वाले लोगों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना पुलिस की जिम्मेदारी है.

इसके साथ ही उन्होंने पुलिसकर्मियों को आम जनता के साथ सौम्य व्यवहार रखने और जरूरत पड़ने पर लोगों की मदद करने के निर्देश दिए.

He said the French company is in some financial trouble and wants the government to make payments to its subsidiary.
Minister says he is ‘worried’ about the delay
Rijiju said he was worried about the delay as the company had gone beyond the deadline. “But I think we’ll sort it out soon,” he said. He said the government wanted to be “very correct in its position legally”.
The minister said, “We are ready to release the money because we want the machine immediately. The only problem is that the amount is not small. So if we pay now, if the company goes bankrupt or something happens, who will save.”
Rijiju further said that the government is taking some steps to speed up the delivery of supercomputers, but did not elaborate. “But I hope the French government will also intervene because we have a good understanding and very good relations with the French government.
“Since this is a high-cost instrument, we want to ensure that the transaction is done in a lawful and fair manner,” he said.
Rijiju said, “Outwardly, everything is ready. It is only a problem with the main company. They want us to make payments to their subsidiary. We will make payments only to the company with which we have entered into the MoU.”
Supercomputing systems based on Avidyne’s Bullsequana XH2000 are said to have a combined power capacity of up to 21.3 petaflops.
Supercomputer in IITM
Pune-based IITM’s supercomputer will provide 13 petaflop computing power for atmosphere and climate research. As per PTI report, it will integrate 3,000 CPU nodes using AMD EPYC 7643 processor and 26 GPU nodes through NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPU. The system will benefit from the NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand networking platform with in-network computing, 3PB all flash and 29PB disk-based DDN EXAScaler ES400NVX2 storage, and Micron high-technology memory.
The existing computing facility at NCMRWF is 2.8 petaflops and at IITM is 4 petaflops respectively.

दिल्ली से सटे गाजियाबाद जिले से एक बेहद भावुक और दर्दनाक खबर सामने आई है. राजनगर एक्सटेंशन की राज अंपायर सोसायटी में रहने वाले 30 वर्षीय हरीश राणा को आखिरकार इच्छामृत्यु की इजाजत मिल गई है। करीब 13 साल पहले एक हादसे ने उनके सपनों और भविष्य को पूरी तरह से बदल दिया। तब से वह बिस्तर पर थे और गंभीर हालत में जी रहे थे। लंबे समय से चल रही कानूनी प्रक्रिया और पारिवारिक दिक्कतों को देखते हुए अब उन्हें असहनीय दर्द से राहत पाने का रास्ता मिल गया है। यह मामला देश में निष्क्रिय इच्छामृत्यु और लाइलाज मरीजों के अधिकारों को लेकर भी नई चर्चा शुरू कर रहा है.

एक हादसे ने मेरी पूरी जिंदगी बदल दी
हरीश राणा की कहानी संघर्ष और टूटे सपनों की कहानी है। वर्ष 2013 में हरीश बीटेक सिविल इंजीनियरिंग के अंतिम वर्ष का छात्र था। पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ वह एक अच्छे वेटलिफ्टर भी थे और खेल में अपना करियर बनाना चाहते थे। रक्षाबंधन की शाम उसने अपनी बहन से फोन पर बात की थी। लेकिन करीब एक घंटे बाद परिवार को खबर मिली कि वह चंडीगढ़ के एक पेइंग गेस्ट हाउस की चौथी मंजिल से गिरकर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए हैं. अगले दिन उन्हें फाइनल वेटलिफ्टिंग प्रतियोगिता में हिस्सा लेना था, लेकिन उन्हें अस्पताल के बिस्तर पर जाना पड़ा।

13 साल तक इलाज और आर्थिक संघर्ष चला
हादसे के बाद से हरीश लगातार बिस्तर पर हैं। उनके पिता अशोक राणा ताज सैट्स एयर कैटरिंग से सेवानिवृत्त हुए हैं। उन्होंने अपनी पूरी जमा पूंजी अपने बेटे के इलाज पर खर्च कर दी. हरीश को अपनी देखभाल के लिए हर महीने भारी खर्च उठाना पड़ता था। नर्स का खर्च हर महीने करीब 27 हजार रुपये था, जबकि फिजियोथेरेपी पर करीब 14 हजार रुपये खर्च होते थे। इसके अलावा हर महीने दवाइयों पर 20 से 25 हजार रुपये खर्च होते थे. अशोक राणा को केवल 3,500 रुपये मासिक पेंशन मिलती है। छोटे बेटे आशीष की नौकरी से परिवार का खर्च चल रहा था। सरकारी मदद न मिलने से परिवार आर्थिक और मानसिक रूप से परेशान था।

लंबी कानूनी लड़ाई के बाद मिला फैसला
परिवार ने पहले भी इच्छामृत्यु की इजाजत मांगी थी, लेकिन 8 जुलाई 2024 को हाई कोर्ट ने उनकी अपील खारिज कर दी थी. बाद में परिवार की स्थिति और हरीश की स्थिति को देखते हुए मामले पर पुनर्विचार किया गया। आख़िरकार अब उन्हें इच्छामृत्यु की इजाज़त मिल गई है.

पिता और पड़ोसियों की भावुक प्रतिक्रिया
हरीश के पिता का कहना है कि वह 13 साल से अपने बेटे को दर्द से दर्द सहते हुए देख रहे हैं. इसी दर्द के चलते उन्होंने ये कठिन फैसला लिया. समाज के लोगों का कहना है कि हरीश काफी समय से बिस्तर पर थे और परिवार की हालत काफी खराब हो गई थी. अब हरीश की याद में सोसायटी में शांति सभा का भी आयोजन किया जाएगा। यह घटना लोगों को गहरे भावनात्मक स्तर पर सोचने पर मजबूर कर रही है.
