सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो वायरल हो रहा है. जिसमें एक युवक पुल से नदी में छलांग लगाता नजर आ रहा है. वीडियो लक्ष्मणझूला-नीलकंठ मार्ग पर स्थित गरुड़ चट्टी पर गंगा पर बने पुल का बताया जा रहा है। हालांकि पुलिस ऐसी किसी घटना से इनकार कर रही है. पुलिस का कहना है कि संभव है कि कोई पुराना वीडियो वायरल किया जा रहा हो.
वीकेंड पर जहां एक ओर पर्यटक गंगा में राफ्टिंग और प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य का आनंद ले रहे हैं, वहीं दूसरी ओर कुछ लोग एडवेंचर के नाम पर अपनी जान जोखिम में डाल रहे हैं. गरुड़ चट्टी पुल की ऊंचाई से गंगा में छलांग लगाना बेहद खतरनाक है, क्योंकि गंगा नदी का प्रवाह तेज है और नीचे चट्टानें भी हैं। ऐसी हरकत किसी बड़े हादसे को दावत दे सकती थी.

हैरानी की बात यह है कि पुल से कुछ ही दूरी पर गरुड़ चट्टी पुलिस चौकी मौजूद है और वहां नियमित रूप से पुलिस बल तैनात रहता है। इसके बावजूद पर्यटक ऐसे जोखिम भरे कदम उठा रहे हैं.
