सचिव आनंद स्वरूप ने कहा, चारधाम यात्रा के दौरान राज्य में लाखों श्रद्धालु और पर्यटक पहुंचते हैं, जिसके कारण होटल, धर्मशाला, ढाबा, रेस्तरां, गेस्ट हाउस और अन्य व्यावसायिक प्रतिष्ठानों में एलपीजी गैस की खपत में भारी वृद्धि दर्ज की जाती है. इस स्थिति को ध्यान में रखते हुए विभाग की ओर से ठोस कदम उठाये जा रहे हैं. तेल विपणन कंपनियों को स्पष्ट निर्देश दिये गये हैं कि राज्य में एलपीजी गैस की आपूर्ति हर हाल में सुचारु, संतुलित एवं निर्बाध बनाये रखी जाये.

चारधाम यात्रा जैसे महत्वपूर्ण अवसर के लिए कंपनियों को अग्रिम योजना के तहत पर्याप्त स्टॉक और लॉजिस्टिक व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करनी होगी। गैस सिलेण्डरों की कालाबाजारी, अतिरिक्त शुल्क तथा अन्य अनियमितताओं को रोकने के लिए प्रदेश भर में सघन प्रवर्तन अभियान जारी रखा जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे संबंधित कोई भी शिकायत प्राप्त होने पर तत्काल प्रभावी कार्रवाई की जायेगी.
