पुलिस के मुताबिक गिरफ्तार आरोपी ऋषिराज, रोहन कुमार और सचिन सिंह अंतरराज्यीय गिरोह के सदस्य हैं. ये लोग टेलीग्राम पर चलने वाली कथित कंपनी ‘क्राउन पे’ से जुड़े थे. आरोपी लोगों को लालच देकर उनके नाम पर फर्जी बैंक खाते खुलवाते थे और फिर उन्हीं खातों का इस्तेमाल साइबर धोखाधड़ी के लिए पैसे जमा करने के लिए करते थे।

25 राज्यों में फैला था ठगी का जाल
जांच के दौरान पुलिस को आरोपियों के मोबाइल फोन से अहम जानकारी मिली. देशभर के 25 राज्यों में दर्ज 75 से ज्यादा शिकायतों में इनकी संलिप्तता सामने आई है. अब तक 67 करोड़ रुपये की धोखाधड़ी का खुलासा हो चुका है. पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपियों ने बताया कि उनके पास 700 से ज्यादा फर्जी बैंक खाते हैं, जिनका इस्तेमाल इस गैरकानूनी काम के लिए किया जाता था.

लेन-देन क्रिप्टो और डॉलर में किया गया
पुलिस अधीक्षक डॉ. इराज ने बताया कि आरोपी ठगी की रकम को क्रिप्टोकरेंसी और डॉलर में बदल कर दूसरे खातों या विदेश में भेज देते थे. उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि अगर सभी खातों की गहराई से जांच की जाए तो धोखाधड़ी की रकम और भी ज्यादा हो सकती है.

छापेमारी में कई सामान बरामद
पुलिस ने आरोपियों के पास से 19 सिम कार्ड, 12 एटीएम कार्ड, 5 बैंक पासबुक, मोबाइल फोन और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज बरामद किए हैं. इस सारी सामग्री का इस्तेमाल धोखाधड़ी नेटवर्क को संचालित करने के लिए किया जा रहा था।

जांच जारी, और भी खुलासे होने की संभावना
