मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की अध्यक्षता में सोमवार को लखनऊ के लोकभवन में हुई कैबिनेट बैठक में कई अहम फैसले लिये गये. इस बैठक में कुल 35 प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दी गई, जिसका सीधा असर किसानों, शहरी विकास और औद्योगिक बुनियादी ढांचे पर पड़ेगा। खास बात यह है कि सरकार ने किसानों को राहत देते हुए गेहूं का न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (एमएसपी) 160 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल बढ़ा दिया है. इसके अलावा, राज्य में गेहूं खरीद की विस्तृत व्यवस्था, बड़ी बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं और नई योजनाओं को भी हरी झंडी दी गई है।

किसानों को राहत, गेहूं का एमएसपी ₹160 बढ़ाया गया
कैबिनेट बैठक में किसानों के हित में बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए गेहूं के एमएसपी में 160 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल की बढ़ोतरी को मंजूरी दे दी गई. यह बढ़ोतरी पिछले साल की तुलना में की गई है, जिससे किसानों को उनकी फसलों के बेहतर दाम मिल सकेंगे. सरकार का उद्देश्य किसानों की आय बढ़ाना और उन्हें आर्थिक रूप से मजबूत बनाना है।

गेहूं खरीद की प्रक्रिया 30 मार्च से शुरू होगी
प्रदेश में गेहूं खरीद 30 मार्च से शुरू होकर 15 जून 2026 तक चलेगी. इस दौरान 75 जिलों में करीब 6500 क्रय केंद्र संचालित किये जायेंगे. खरीद प्रक्रिया को सुव्यवस्थित करने के लिए 8 एजेंसियों को जिम्मेदारी दी गई है, जिनमें एफसीआई और मंडी परिषद प्रमुख हैं। किसानों को समय पर भुगतान सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सरकार ने पूरी तैयारी कर ली है.

लखनऊ में बनेगा इंटरनेशनल एग्जीबिशन सेंटर
राजधानी लखनऊ में 1435 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से इंटरनेशनल एग्जीबिशन सेंटर बनाने की मंजूरी मिल गई है. इस सेंटर में एक आधुनिक कन्वेंशन हॉल भी होगा, जिसमें करीब 10 हजार लोगों के बैठने की व्यवस्था होगी. इससे राज्य में बड़े राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने में सुविधा होगी।

संभल और ग्रेटर नोएडा में लॉजिस्टिक परियोजनाओं को बढ़ावा देना
कैबिनेट ने संभल में इंटीग्रेटेड मैन्युफैक्चरिंग एंड लॉजिस्टिक्स सेंटर और ग्रेटर नोएडा में लॉजिस्टिक्स वेयरहाउस के निर्माण के टेंडर को भी मंजूरी दे दी है. यूपी मल्टी मॉडल लॉजिस्टिक्स पार्क पॉलिसी 2024 को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए ये फैसले अहम माने जा रहे हैं.

“नवयुग पालिका योजना” को मिली मंजूरी
सरकार ने “नवयुग पालिका योजना” को भी हरी झंडी दे दी है। यह योजना राज्य के 58 जिला मुख्यालयों में लागू की जायेगी. हालांकि, 17 नगर निगमों को इससे बाहर रखा गया है. इस योजना का उद्देश्य शहरी क्षेत्रों में बेहतर सुविधाओं और विकास कार्यों को बढ़ावा देना है।

RCB all-rounder Krunal Pandya played a key role in the franchise’s first IPL title win in 2025 with a stellar performance. However, he is not satisfied and is already aiming for more success with the Virat Kohli-starrer team in the upcoming season.

Krunal was player of the match in the IPL opener last year and capped the campaign with another POTM award in the final, helping Royal Challengers Bangalore end their 18-year wait for the title. In the process, he became the only player to win the Player of the Match award in two IPL finals, a feat he first achieved during Mumbai Indians’ title win in 2017.

The 2025 season was the best season of his IPL career. Krunal finished as the top finger spinner in the tournament and recorded his personal best bowling performance. He took 17 wickets, the second-highest for RCB after Josh Hazlewood’s 22, and established himself as a key option in pressure situations.

Krunal Pandya told ESPNcricinfo, “It feels really good that everything I said in 2022 has turned out exactly like that. After a 17-year drought, and again in the 18th season, RCB won the trophy and I’ve been a part of it – I had a nice, small contribution to their success – can’t ask for more than that. Going forward, I’m still hungry. I think this is just the beginning.”

Krunal also credited RCB spin-bowling coach Malolan Rangarajan for supporting his approach and encouraging him to expand his bowling, including using bouncers as options. He comes into IPL 2026 after his best season in the tournament and has more weapons in his bowling arsenal than ever before.

“Agreed. I’ll give Malolan a lot of credit. What happens as a player is, sometimes you know certain things are going to work for you but he gave me so much legitimacy, and he pushed me [into] doing that. He encouraged me to bowl slow and bowl bouncers, to take wickets. He said if you feel like this then you bowl a bouncer.”

New Delhi: Days after the Tamil Nadu government issued an order to regulate beauty, cosmetology and hair transplant clinics, mandating their registration under the Tamil Nadu Clinical Establishments Act and bringing them under formal rules, doctors have called for implementation of similar rules across the country amid a rise in social media-driven procedures.The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) has urged the government to curb quackery and implement comprehensive national guidelines to protect patients and strictly enforce existing rules, warning that the fast-growing sector is going beyond oversight.Experts say complications from cosmetic procedures such as hair transplants, Botox and laser treatments are emerging more frequently, as young Indians seek quick fixes and aesthetic improvements are promoted online.The Tamil Nadu order states that hair transplants should be performed only by registered medical practitioners – preferably dermatologists or plastic surgeons – and clinics are required to have proper infrastructure, including monitoring systems, emergency equipment and anesthesia support.Concerns have grown after reports of poor procedures, including the death of two engineers in Kanpur, prompting a police investigation. The issue has also drawn judicial attention. In 2022, the Delhi High Court gave the green light to salons offering hair transplants without medical supervision, warning that such procedures performed by unqualified individuals could be dangerous and even fatal.Experts emphasize that hair transplant surgery requires knowledge of skin biology, hair disorders, infection control and management of complications, and should be performed only by specialized registered doctors.“Aesthetic procedures require specialized training beyond an MBBS degree,” said Dr Vinay Singh, Chairman, IADVL. He said dermatologists have to undergo three years of postgraduate training in procedural skills as well as skin and hair disorders.“Many cases of hair loss can be treated medically and do not require surgery,” said Dr Kabir Sardana, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, emphasizing the need for proper diagnosis before opting for transplantation. He said the growing demand is being fueled by the influence of social media and rising disposable income.Highlighting the scale of the problem, the IADVL said its anti-quackery committee has identified more than 100 alleged unqualified practitioners offering such procedures this year and shared a list with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for action.The debate over who is eligible to perform hair transplants has intensified ever since the Dental Council of India allowed oral and maxillofacial surgeons to train in aesthetic procedures including hair restoration, creating a regulatory gray area.The IADVL also urges patients to verify the doctor’s qualifications and registration with the state medical council before any skin, hair or cosmetic treatment and ensure that the registration number is clearly mentioned on the prescription. The public has been advised to remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to misleading advertisements or treatments offered by unlicensed practitioners.
