Antonio Felix da Costa has a lot to celebrate at the moment after securing his second consecutive win of the season in Madrid. The Jaguar TCS Racing driver recently scored his first win with his new team in Jeddah and followed it up with another win in Madrid. He not only became the only driver to take two wins this season, but also equaled fellow Formula E driver Sébastien Buemi for the second most Formula E wins in his career. He and Buemi both have 14 wins each, while da Costa’s teammate Mitch Evans leads the list with 15 wins.

Formula E dedicated a post to Antonio Felix da Costa’s new achievement, sharing his poster with the caption: “Making moves. After his win in Madrid, @afelixdacosta is now tied for the second most wins in Formula E.”Lucas di Grassi, who was overtaken by da Costa in the list, reacted to the post with several clapping emojis. Di Grassi now sits third with 13 Formula E wins. Da Costa’s older brother, Duarte Félix da Costa, simply wrote “DAC” along with trophy and bicep emojis.One fan wrote: “DAC is coming.” Another commented: “Let’s go AFC!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Another fan captioned it “Jug Domination!!!” Said. Another comment read: “AFC is a machine!”

Antonio Félix da Costa’s victory at the first Madrid E-Prix (Round 6) was special for more reasons than one. He crossed the finish line first, cheering from the stands at the Circuito del Jarama, in front of many family members and friends who had traveled to Madrid to watch the race.Da Costa also shared the podium with his teammate Mitch Evans in second place. Evans was a strong contender for the win, but the team put da Costa ahead on this occasion.Da Costa said after the race, “Continuing wins, 1-2 for the team, that doesn’t happen often! Big congratulations to all the boys and girls who provide us with these cars in the UK. It’s like a home run for me, I have a lot of friends and family here, and it’s a dream day. We’re both winners, we both wanted to win, we just got different messages. We will work on this. i’m happy for mitch [Evans]He must have run an amazing race. I’ll have to go back and see him because he came from behind! I’m happy with what we did today and it’s a dream day.”The 34-year-old Portuguese driver is currently spending his free time at home. He will return to racing for Round 7 in Berlin.
