A small plane carrying seven people crashed into crocodile-infested waters near Broome in Western Australia on Thursday morning, injuring one person but everyone on board the plane survived, The Australian reports. Witnesses describe final moments

Eyewitnesses said the plane was flying unusually low before it touched down. A local man told ABC News that the plane appeared to tilt during a turn and then disappear from view, suggesting something had gone wrong in the air.Despite the danger posed by the crocodile-infested waters, emergency services responded quickly. Police, sea rescue teams and ambulance teams reached the accident site. A man in his 40s suffered minor head injuries and was airlifted to hospital, while the other six people on board were assessed and treated at the scene, news.com.au and perthnow reported.The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has launched an investigation into the accident. Officials said they would investigate the wreckage, collect flight data and interview the crew, passengers and witnesses.
