Bike rider meets with accident during Vijay’s road show in Sivagangai (ANI)

New Delhi: Another incident has come to light during election campaigning by Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief. VictoryA bike rider met with an accident during the actor-politician’s road show in Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu on Friday.This incident was captured on camera.In footage shared by news agency ANI, a group of bike-riding youths were attempting to take a selfie while riding behind a van, when one of them met with an accident.More information is awaited.In September last year, at least 41 people were killed in a stampede at a victory rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently investigating the case after the Supreme Court transferred the investigation from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the Madras High Court.The Tamil superstar, known as “Thalapathy” (leader), launched TVK in February 2024. The party made its electoral debut in the Puducherry Assembly elections on Thursday, contesting 28 out of 30 seats and allocating two constituencies to its ally Neyam Makkal Kazhagam.However, its primary focus is on Tamil Nadu, where the party is contesting all 234 seats. Vijay himself is in the fray from two constituencies – Tiruchi East and Perambur.The southern state will go to polls on April 23 and counting of votes will take place on May 4.
