After launching glimpses of their first major property, ‘Ram’ in Los Angeles and New York, producer Namit Malhotra and lead actor Yash are reportedly heading towards CinemaCon 2026 with their magnum opus.Ramayana: Part – 1′. The event, which took place in Las Vegas from 13 to 16 April, featured posters including a large banner-style poster in the center of the venue, featuring detailed close-up looks of Kapoor’s Ram and Yash’s Raavan, and high-resolution, intricately designed character artworks. A poster titled Enter the World of Ramayana featured a text that read, “CinemaCon delegates are invited to experience one of the most ambitious theatrical productions currently in post-production and set for worldwide theatrical release this year – Ramayana, a sweeping mythological epic filmed for IMAX and designed as a global tentpole event. From a 5,000-year-old myth that has shaped culture across continents, the Ramayana is being reimagined as a cinematic spectacle for modern audiences – featuring large-format film production, cutting-edge visual effects by 8-time Academy Award-winning VFX studio DNEG, and an unprecedented musical collaboration between Hans Zimmer and AR. Throughout CinemaCon, the Ramayan team will host private previews and open house conversations in the Milano III Ballroom, offering a first look at the film’s scale, vision and global release strategy. Apart from ‘Ramayana’, Hollywood biggies like Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’, Marvel’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ and ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will also mark their presence at the event, where the directors and their star-casts will come on the big stage to promote their films. ‘Ramayan’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari is scheduled to release in Diwali 2026.
