New Delhi: Delhi Police on Monday arrested the suspect and seized the car that broke the barricade and entered the Delhi Assembly complex. According to officials, a Tata Sierra car with UP registration number broke the gate number and entered inside. 2. A man came out of the car of Delhi Assembly, kept the bouquet and went away. CRPF VIP was deployed for security at the gate. No bomb-like object was found.Meanwhile, CCTV footage showed the suspect, identified by police as Sarabjit Singh, carrying a bag and a bouquet of flowers.

According to the police, the vehicle was being driven recklessly when it collided with the security barricades outside the assembly complex and broke the main gate. The sudden intrusion caused panic at the site and security personnel rushed to respond.“The driver proceeded towards Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta’s office and placed a bouquet of flowers near the porch before retreating,” a Delhi Secretariat official said.The officers present at the spot attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver managed to flee soon after entering the premises. Police teams have launched a search operation to trace the car and identify the driver.Initial investigation suggests the vehicle breached multiple layers of security before entering the premises, raising concerns over the breach. Officials are now reviewing CCTV footage of the area to piece together the sequence of events.
