Numaligarh RefineryEnergy Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmood Tuku told parliament on Monday that fuel hoarding – not supply shortages – is the bigger concern amid the Middle East crisis.The fuel started arriving through the India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline on Saturday evening and is expected to be fully delivered by Tuesday. Earlier, 15,000 tonnes were brought through the pipeline, following a shipment of 5,000 tonnes from March 25, to meet the needs of Bangladesh, which was heavily dependent on Gulf imports.Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation is prioritizing sea routes as well as pipeline imports to keep supplies stable, officials said.
