Bhubaneswar: A woman allegedly killed her two minor children in Odisha’s Jharsuguda town, with police suspecting the incident to be related to a domestic dispute.The incident happened on Saturday night.The accused, identified as Ranjita Oram, is accused of murdering her five-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter at their residence. After the incident, he allegedly attempted to take his life using a traditional vegetable cutter, police said.Both children were found dead at the spot. The police reached the spot and took the woman into custody.Preliminary investigation suggests that the incident may have occurred due to a domestic dispute, although the exact motive is not yet known.A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
