New Delhi: Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah Came out strongly in support of his Bengal counterpart on Friday Mamata Banerjee On the issue of transfer of officials by the Election Commission in poll-bound Bengal, he said, “These mass transfers happen only in non-BJP ruled states.”Responding to Mamata’s post on Twitter, he said, “Bengal will once again prove that officials do not win elections for political parties; members of political parties win.”“No effort by the Election Commission will change the results. On the day of counting, Mamata will get a thumping majority,” Omar said.Highlighting that parties have come forward to support Mamata, TMC shared a video clip of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav saying, “I want to congratulate Mamata in advance and say that the people of Bengal will vote in her favor.” He said the ‘conspiracy’ that led BJP Defeating him, including the recent transfer of officials, will not work. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal had also posted, “BJP has made the Election Commission its weapon to win elections fraudulently. What is happening in Bengal today, is what happened in Delhi elections.” Sena UBT’s Sanjay Raut said on Twitter, “It is not only difficult but impossible to defeat Mamata Didi in Bengal! That is why BJP is playing dirty by hiding behind the shield of the Election Commission.”
