New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wished people good luck on its launch on Thursday Navratri And the traditional Indian New Year, celebrated in various forms across the country.Happy New Year, Navratri, Gudi Padwa, UgadiCheti Chand, Navreh and Sajibu Cheiraoba, Prime Minister said that these occasions mark the arrival of the New Year, which brings renewal, hope and new possibilities.He said in a message, “Best wishes to everyone on the special occasion of New Year. May everyone be blessed with infinite happiness, success and good health.”Modi said, “I pray that this coming new year further strengthens the spirit of courage, confidence and service in everyone’s life. May it also give new impetus to our collective efforts towards nation building.”Nav Samvatsara, the Hindu New Year (Vikram Samvat 2083), begins on Thursday with the beginning of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada.The Prime Minister also extended best wishes to Navratri, the festival dedicated to Goddess Durga.“Warm Navratri wishes to all my family members across the country. May this divine occasion of worship of the Supreme Power bring happiness, good fortune, prosperity and excellent health to all,” he said in Hindi.PM Modi said that with the immense grace of Goddess Durga, the form of Shakti, everyone should get well-being and the resolve for a developed India should get new energy. “Jai Ambe Jagdambe Maa!” He said. “On the holy occasion of Navratri, I pray to the Goddess to bestow her love and compassion on everyone. Jai Mata Di!” He said.He also wished people on the occasion of Gudi Padwa.He said, “Warm wishes to everyone on the vibrant occasion of Gudi Padwa!
