May everyone be blessed with infinite happiness, success and good health.”Modi said, “I pray that this coming new year further strengthens the spirit of courage, confidence and service in everyone’s life. May it also give new impetus to our collective efforts towards nation building.”Nav Samvatsara, the Hindu New Year (Vikram Samvat 2083), begins on Thursday with the beginning of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada.The Prime Minister also extended best wishes to Navratri, the festival dedicated to Goddess Durga.“Warm Navratri wishes to all my family members across the country. May this divine occasion of worship of the Supreme Power bring happiness, good fortune, prosperity and excellent health to all,” he said in Hindi.PM Modi said that with the immense grace of Goddess Durga, the form of Shakti, everyone should get well-being and the resolve for a developed India should get new energy. “Jai Ambe Jagdambe Maa!” He said. “On the holy occasion of Navratri, I pray to the Goddess to bestow her love and compassion on everyone.
