Rwandan batsman Fanny Utagushimaninde on Friday created history by scoring the youngest T20 century. She achieved the feat against Ghana in the Nigeria Invitational Women’s T20I tournament at the Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval, Lagos.
At the age of just 15 years and 223 days, Utagushimaninde broke the record previously held by Uganda’s Proscovia Alako, who had scored 116 against Mali in Kigali in 2019 at the age of 16 years and 233 days. He scored 111 runs in 65 balls with the help of 17 fours.
In men’s cricket, the record for the youngest T20I century is held by France’s Gustave McConn, who scored a century against Switzerland in 2022 at the age of 18 years and 280 days.
Utagushimaninde also became the first player in women’s T20I history to score a century on debut, surpassing Karen Rolton’s record of 96 runs for the highest score on women’s T20I debut against England at Taunton in 2005.
In men’s T20Is, players such as Canada’s Matthew Spurs, Serbia’s Leslie Dunbar, Namibia’s JP Kotz and Canada’s Ravinderpal Singh have scored centuries on debut, but none were from Full Member nations.
Fanny Utagushimaninde scored a century as Rwanda Women produced a brilliant performance to beat Ghana Women by 122 runs.
Batting first, Rwanda scored 210/3 in 20 overs, with Utagushimaninde scoring 111 runs from 65 balls at a strike rate of 170.76. Gisele Ishimwe (14) and Clarisse Uwase (15) made useful contributions while Marvelli Uwase added a quickfire 32 runs to boost the total. राजधानी लखनऊ के बंथरा थाना क्षेत्र स्थित संपदा गांव में शुक्रवार सुबह दिल दहला देने वाली घटना सामने आई। यहां एक ही परिवार के तीन लोगों ने जहरीला पदार्थ खा लिया, जिससे पूरे इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया. इस घटना में मां-बेटे की मौत हो गई, जबकि पिता की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है. घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और पूरे मामले की जांच में जुट गई है. इस घटना से आसपास के लोग भी सदमे में हैं.
परिवार के तीनों सदस्य बेहोश पाए गए
जानकारी के मुताबिक, 55 साल के रूपनारायण अपनी 52 साल की पत्नी तारावती और 30 साल के बेटे संदीप के साथ रहते थे। बताया जा रहा है कि तीनों ने कोई जहरीला पदार्थ खा लिया। घटना का पता तब चला जब छोटा बेटा कुलदीप घर पहुंचा। उसने देखा कि पिता उल्टी कर रहे थे, जबकि मां और बड़ा भाई बेहोश पड़े थे. तीनों के मुंह से झाग निकल रहा था, जिससे जहरीला पदार्थ खाने की आशंका थी.
अस्पताल पहुंचने पर मां-बेटे को मृत घोषित कर दिया गया
घटना देखकर कुलदीप के होश उड़ गए और उसने तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी। मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने तीनों को तुरंत अस्पताल पहुंचाया. डॉक्टरों ने जांच के बाद तारावती और संदीप को मृत घोषित कर दिया, जबकि रूपनारायण की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है और उसका इलाज चल रहा है।
सुसाइड नोट मिलने से जांच की दिशा बढ़ी
पुलिस को मृतक संदीप की जेब से एक सुसाइड नोट भी मिला है. इसमें उसने अपनी मौत के लिए खुद को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है। हालांकि, इस घटना के पीछे की असली वजह अभी तक साफ नहीं हो पाई है. बंथरा थाना पुलिस ने दोनों शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है और जांच जारी है.
कर्ज और तनाव की बात सामने आई
डीसीपी साउथ निपुण अग्रवाल के मुताबिक, परिवार छोटे होटल कारोबार से जुड़ा था। रूपनारायण गांव के बाहर चाय-समोसे का होटल चलाता था, जिससे परिवार का खर्च चलता था। शुरुआती जांच में पता चला है कि वह पिछले कुछ दिनों से मानसिक तनाव में थे। परिवार पर बैंक का कर्ज भी था, जिसे चुकाने में उन्हें दिक्कत आ रही थी. बताया जा रहा है कि दो दिन पहले बैंक का नोटिस भी चस्पा कर दिया गया था.
पुलिस हर पहलू से जांच कर रही है
फिलहाल पुलिस मामले की गहराई से जांच कर रही है. आसपास के लोगों और परिवार के लोगों से पूछताछ की जा रही है ताकि घटना के पीछे की असली वजह सामने आ सके. अधिकारियों का कहना है कि सभी तथ्यों के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Faithfully follow the directions of the Bombay High Court for filing annual audit report on the status of afforestation, which is to be done before or simultaneously with the 10 year period.Refusing to entertain the appeal against the HC’s December 12 order allowing the project, a bench of CJI Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and Vipul M Pancholi said there was no doubt about the public benefit of the project, which would reduce congestion on the Western Express Highway.“The construction of this road is of great importance for the residents of Mumbai. We cannot stop every developmental project, however, it is equally important that the environment and conservation mechanisms are not compromised,” the bench said.Appearing for NGO Vanashakti, senior advocate CU Singh said, “The impugned decision allows diversion of 103.7 hectares of forest land comprising 45,675 mangroves in Malad Creek without any assessment of the environmental and ecological damage caused.”The Supreme Court bench said, “No mangroves should be removed unless public interest is paramount. There is no dispute that the coastal road project connecting Versova and Bhayandar is of utmost public importance.”Solicitor General Tushar Mehta assured the Supreme Court that to ensure the growth and health of the compensatory afforestation being done near the Tadoba Reserve Forest and the relocation of mangroves and plantations to a location 10 km away from the project site, annual audit reports will be filed for the next 10 years, as per the High Court’s direction.The CJI-led bench said that the annual report will give complete details of non-forest land used for afforestation. “In view of the safeguards included in the Bombay HC order, we see no reason to entertain the appeal,” it said.Explaining the beneficial effects of mangroves, which according to Vanashakti are highly effective in combating pollution and high tides, CU Singh said the approval given to the project by the High Court will allow the proponents to cut down the mangroves even before the Phase-II environment impact assessment and forest clearance.Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that along with the project work, compensatory afforestation has already been done on 31 hectares of land.Solicitor General Mehta said the High Court has put strict conditions on the BMC to ensure adequate compensatory afforestation, their growth and survival for at least 10 years.मुजफ्फरनगर बाल मजदूरी के खिलाफ जिला प्रशासन ने एक बार फिर सख्त रुख अपनाया और बड़े पैमाने पर छापेमारी अभियान चलाया. जिलाधिकारी उमेश मिश्र एवं सहायक श्रमायुक्त देवेश सिंह के निर्देशन में गठित संयुक्त टीम ने जिले के विभिन्न संवेदनशील इलाकों में कार्रवाई कर 8 नाबालिग बच्चों को बाल श्रम से मुक्त कराया. इस कार्रवाई में 6 नियोक्ताओं के खिलाफ कानूनी प्रक्रिया भी शुरू की गई है, जिससे साफ है कि प्रशासन अब बाल श्रम के खिलाफ जीरो टॉलरेंस की नीति पर काम कर रहा है.
मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर बाल श्रम अभियान: किन क्षेत्रों में हुई कार्रवाई?
मुजफ्फरनगर बाल श्रम उन्मूलन अभियान के तहत टीम ने जड़ौदा गांव, मुजफ्फरनगर बाईपास, ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर और भोपा रोड जैसे प्रमुख इलाकों में छापेमारी की। ये क्षेत्र लंबे समय से बाल श्रम की शिकायतों के लिए चिह्नित हैं। संयुक्त टीम में श्रम संक्रमण अधिकारी विंध्याचल शुक्ला, मानव तस्करी विरोधी थाना प्रभारी जय सिंह भाटी, जस्ट राइट फॉर चिल्ड्रेन संस्था और जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण के सदस्य शामिल थे।
कार्रवाई के दौरान कई प्रतिष्ठानों में नाबालिग बच्चे काम करते मिले। टीम ने तुरंत प्रभाव से बच्चों को बचाया और संबंधित नियोक्ताओं के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू की।
बाल अधिकारों की सुरक्षा पर प्रशासन का सख्त संदेश
सहायक श्रमायुक्त देवेश सिंह ने स्पष्ट कहा कि मुजफ्फरनगर बाल श्रम के खिलाफ यह अभियान उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के “बाल श्रम मुक्त अभियान” का हिस्सा है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत सरकार की सर्व शिक्षा योजना के तहत 14 वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा पूर्णतया निःशुल्क है और यह उनका मौलिक अधिकार है।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि किसी भी परिस्थिति में बच्चों से काम कराना न सिर्फ कानून का उल्लंघन है बल्कि उनके भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ भी है. सभी नियोक्ताओं से अपील की गई है कि वे अपने प्रतिष्ठानों में 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चों को काम पर न रखें और उन्हें स्कूल भेजने में सहयोग करें.
मानव तस्करी पर भी प्रशासन की पैनी नजर है
थाना प्रभारी जय सिंह भाटी ने मुजफ्फरनगर में बाल श्रम के साथ ही मानव तस्करी के खतरे को गंभीर बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि बाहरी राज्यों से आने वाले श्रमिकों और बच्चों की जानकारी संबंधित थाने या प्रशासन को देना अनिवार्य है.
उन्होंने कहा कि कई बार बाल मजदूरी के पीछे संगठित मानव तस्करी गिरोह सक्रिय होते हैं, जो बच्चों को बहला-फुसलाकर काम पर लगाते हैं। ऐसे मामलों में कड़ी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जायेगी.
एनजीओ और प्रशासन का संयुक्त प्रयास हुआ कारगर
जस्ट राइट फॉर चिल्ड्रेन संस्था एवं ग्रामीण सामाजिक विकास केंद्र ने मुजफ्फरनगर बाल श्रम उन्मूलन अभियान में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। संस्था के प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर गजेंद्र ने कहा कि बच्चों के अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए वह हमेशा प्रशासन के साथ खड़े हैं.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे अभियान न केवल बच्चों को श्रम से मुक्ति दिलाते हैं, बल्कि समाज में जागरूकता भी बढ़ाते हैं. संस्था भविष्य में भी इस दिशा में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाती रहेगी।
कार्रवाई में शामिल टीम का योगदान
मुजफ्फरनगर बाल श्रम अभियान को सफल बनाने में सब इंस्पेक्टर जगत सिंह, हेड कांस्टेबल अमरजीत और जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण के सदस्य गौरव मलिक सहित कई अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों का विशेष योगदान रहा।
टीम की सजगता और समन्वय के कारण यह अभियान प्रभावी ढंग से संचालित हुआ और कई बच्चों को मजदूरी की बेड़ियों से मुक्त कराया जा सका।
मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर बाल श्रम: सामाजिक और कानूनी पहलू
मुजफ्फरनगर बालश्रम न केवल कानूनी मुद्दा है बल्कि सामाजिक चेतना से भी जुड़ा विषय है। विशेषज्ञों के मुताबिक बाल श्रम की समस्या गरीबी, अशिक्षा और जागरूकता की कमी से जुड़ी है।
सरकार द्वारा बनाए गए सख्त कानूनों के बावजूद भी अगर समाज में जागरूकता नहीं बढ़ी तो इस समस्या का पूरी तरह से समाधान करना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। इसलिए, प्रशासन के साथ-साथ आम नागरिकों की भी जिम्मेदारी है कि वे ऐसे मामलों की रिपोर्ट करें और बच्चों के अधिकारों की रक्षा में योगदान दें।
शिक्षा ही समाधान है: बच्चों के भविष्य की कुंजी

प्रशासन ने संकेत दिया है कि मुजफ्फरनगर में बाल श्रम के खिलाफ ऐसे अभियान भविष्य में भी जारी रहेंगे. आने वाले समय में और भी क्षेत्रों को चिन्हित कर सघन कार्रवाई की जायेगी।
इस अभियान के माध्यम से स्पष्ट संदेश दिया गया है कि बाल श्रम किसी भी सूरत में बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।
