According to an arrest affidavit shared by the Daily Mail, Tiger Woods told officers he was looking at his phone and changing the radio before the crash. When police checked him, they found two pills marked “M367”, which is hydrocodone, a strong pain medication, in his pocket. Officers also noted that he was sweating heavily, walking slowly, and his eyes were bloodshot with very large pupils. When Woods was asked about medication, he simply said, “I take some.He refused to provide a urine sample at the scene, leading to additional charges.He was taken to the Martin County Public Safety Complex around 3 p.m. and released on bond later that night. Sheriff John Budenciak, speaking to reporters, made it clear the rules are the same for everyone. “It doesn’t matter who you are, if you break the law we will enforce the law,” he said. The situation also reminds many of his 2017 DUI arrest and his 2021 accident in California, where he suffered serious leg injuries.
