us President donald trump On Tuesday he stressed that the US does not need support from its allies as it continues military operations against Iran, declaring that the country is “by far the most powerful country anywhere in the world and they don’t need anyone’s help!”In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that many NATO allies have refused to participate in the US-led military operation. He wrote, “The United States has been informed by the majority of our NATO ‘allies’ that they do not wish to join our military campaign against Iran’s terrorist regime in the Middle East, despite the fact that almost every country strongly agrees with what we are doing, and that Iran cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapons in any way, shape, or form.”He added, “However, I am not surprised by their actions, because I have always considered NATO, where we spend hundreds of billions of dollars a year defending these same countries – we will defend them, but they will do nothing for us, especially, in our time of need.”The US President also claimed significant military success against Iran. “Fortunately, we have destroyed Iran’s military, their navy is gone, their air force is gone, their anti-aircraft and radar are gone and perhaps, most importantly, their leaders, at almost every level, are gone, never to threaten us, our Middle Eastern allies or the world again!” He said that in view of these developments, America’s dependence on allies is no longer necessary. “Due to the fact that we have had such military success, we no longer ‘need’ or desire the assistance of NATO countries, we never did! Likewise, Japan, Australia or South Korea.
