हाल ही में अयोध्या जिले के दशरथपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र में लगी आग ने तीन गरीब परिवारों की जिंदगी पूरी तरह से बदल दी। इस भीषण घटना में राधेश्याम निषाद समेत तीन परिवारों की पूरी गृहस्थी जलकर राख हो गयी. घटना का दुख इतना गहरा था कि अचानक ही दिल का दौरा पड़ने से राधेश्याम निषाद की पत्नी की मौत हो गई. इस दुखद हादसे की जानकारी मिलते ही सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता राजन पांडे ने तुरंत मदद का हाथ बढ़ाया और अपने बेटे जिला पंचायत सदस्य अंकित पांडे को मौके पर भेजा और राहत सामग्री और आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की।

तीन परिवारों की गृहस्थी बर्बाद हो गयी
जानकारी के मुताबिक, आग इतनी भयानक थी कि राधेश्याम निषाद समेत तीन परिवारों के घर में रखा सारा सामान जलकर राख हो गया. इस घटना से परिवार पूरी तरह से बेघर और असहाय हो गया. इस सदमे को राधेश्याम निषाद की पत्नी बर्दाश्त नहीं कर सकीं और उन्हें दिल का दौरा पड़ा, जिससे उनकी मौत हो गई.

सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता ने दी मदद
घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही राजन पांडे ने अपने बेटे अंकित पांडे को मौके पर भेजा. अंकित पांडे ने प्रभावित परिवारों को दाल, चावल, आटा, सब्जियां, कालीन, चादर, कंबल और कपड़े जैसी आवश्यक वस्तुएं दीं। इसके साथ ही राधेश्याम निषाद के परिवार को 2000 रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता दी गई, ताकि उन्हें तत्काल राहत मिल सके.

अन्य परिवारों को भी सहयोग मिला
इसके अलावा अन्य दो प्रभावित परिवारों को दरी, चादर और कंबल के साथ 1000-1000 रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता भी दी गई. इस मदद से प्रभावित परिवारों को कुछ राहत मिली और उन्होंने समाज सेवी के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया.

समाज के लोगों से अपील
अंकित पांडे ने मौके पर मौजूद लोगों से अपील की कि हर व्यक्ति को अपनी क्षमता के अनुसार गरीब और जरूरतमंद लोगों की मदद करनी चाहिए. इससे समाज के कमजोर वर्ग को मुख्यधारा में लाने में मदद मिल सकती है.

समाज सेवा का संकल्प
राजन पांडे ने दूरभाष पर बताया कि वे जीवनभर गरीबों व जरूरतमंदों की मदद करते रहेंगे. उन्होंने कहा कि समाज सेवा करने से उन्हें शांति मिलती है और यही उनके जीवन का लक्ष्य है.

इस दौरान मौके पर राम चन्द्र निषाद, प्रधान हरिप्रसाद निषाद, प्रधान सुरेश निषाद, अशोक निषाद, मुकेश निषाद, पिपरी राम बली निषाद, मनोज निषाद, साधु राजित राम निषाद, सतीहन निषाद सहित सैकड़ों क्षेत्रवासी मौजूद रहे।

Iran’s state news agency said three-party talks, including Pakistan, had begun after Iranian pre-conditions were met, including a reduction in Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon. “The formal round of direct talks between Iran and the US has officially started on Saturday evening after Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held separate meetings with the US and Iranian delegations,” a senior Shehbaz administration official told PTI. The US delegation, led by Vice President J.D. Vance, and the Iranian delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, were discussing how to advance a ceasefire already endangered by deep differences of opinion and Israel’s continued attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Vance, accompanied by special envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, arrived in Islamabad hours after Qalibaf. Both delegations were welcomed by Pakistan’s Deputy PM Ishaq Dar and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir at Rawalpindi’s Noor Khan airbase, which was damaged by Indian strikes during Operation Sindoor. Iranians wore black to mourn Ayatollah Khamenei and others killed in the war.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was also part of the delegation. Since the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979, the most direct US contact occurred in September 2013 when President Barack Obama called newly elected President Hassan Rouhani to discuss Iran’s nuclear program. The highest-level meetings during talks on the program recently took place between Secretary of State John Kerry and his counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif. Iran doubled down on parts of its earlier proposal, with its delegation telling Iranian state television that it had presented some of the plan’s ideas as “red lines” in meetings with Sharif. These included compensation for damage caused by the American-Israeli attacks that started the war on February 28. Reflecting the high stakes, officials in the region said Chinese, Egyptian, Saudi and Qatari officials were in Islamabad to indirectly facilitate the talks. He discussed the sensitive matter on condition of anonymity.

New Delhi: Over 2 crore voters were included in 12 states and Union Territories (UTs) during the second phase of Special Intensive Revision (SIR), taking the net deletion at the start of SIR on October 27, 2025 to around 5.2 crore or 10.2% of their combined electorate of around 51 crore. Total deletions in Phase 2 states/UTs reached 7.2 crore. However, 2 crore names were included as new voters (Form 6 by first-time voters) and existing voters enrolling at a new address (Form 8). According to data received from the Election Commission, more than 6.5 crore absent, transferred, dead, doubly enrolled and ‘other’ voters were identified and removed from the voter lists of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, UP, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, TN, Goa, Puducherry, MP, Rajasthan, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Another 63.2 lakh names were removed through Form 7 (objections to inclusion in the roll) and adjudication (special for Bengal where 27.2 lakh names were removed by judicial authorities).

After roll clean-up, 45.8 crore voters are left in the rolls in 12 states and union territories

About 66.9 lakh deletions were due to death, 1.3 crore due to enrollment at multiple places, 1.3 crore found absent at registered address, 3.1 crore permanently transferred; 12.7 lakh were placed in the ‘other’ category. “After purification of the rolls, there are now 45.8 crore voters present in 12 States/UTs. The removal of more than 6.5 crore ASDDs and other voters who were in the rolls but were not voting and were at risk of fraudulent voting in their names has resulted in a pure and accurate voter list serving the purpose of SIR. This explains the highest ever turnout in Assam and Puducherry on April 9.” State-wise, the percentage of roll refinement (net refinement divided by total voters before SIR) was highest in Andaman and Nicobar Islands at 16.6%, followed by UP at 13.2%, Gujarat at 13.1% and Chhattisgarh at 11.3%. West Bengal ranks fifth among 12 states/UTs in terms of purification percentage. It is noteworthy that apart from the 27.1 lakh who were removed from the rolls of Bengal after the decision, another 6 lakh were removed on the basis of objections to their inclusion in the rolls. West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Goa recorded a net decline of 10.9%, 10.6% and 10.2% respectively, while Puducherry saw a net decline of 7% in the number of voters. States like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala and Lakshadweep saw lower net extinction of 5.7%, 5.4%, 2.5% and 0.3% respectively. Of the 2 crore names added across 12 states/UTs, the highest number of names were from UP (92.4 lakh), followed by Tamil Nadu (35 lakh), Kerala (20.4 lakh), Rajasthan (15.4 lakh), Madhya Pradesh (12.9 lakh) and Gujarat (12.1 lakh).

Indicating his government’s intention to pass the bills during the session beginning April 16, Modi wrote, “After extensive deliberations, we have come to the conclusion that the time has come to implement the Nari Shakti Vandan Act in its true spirit across the country. BJP will need opposition’s support for two-thirds majority on Women’s Bill.

Earlier this week, the Union Cabinet had approved amendments in which three bills will be introduced: the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, the Delimitation Bill and a law to extend reservation for women in Union Territories like Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir and Puducherry, where there are legislative assemblies.In his letter, the PM said that constitutional experts have been consulted on this issue and the government is also in talks with political parties.She stressed that the proposed amendment is a “strong step” towards increasing the participation of women, who constitute half the population.

स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीम ने हाल ही में कानपुर के कल्याणपुर और शिवली इलाके में विशेष परीक्षण अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान कई अस्पताल बिना वैध लाइसेंस, प्रशिक्षित डॉक्टरों और आवश्यक स्टाफ के संचालित होते पाए गए। जांच के बाद बिना लाइसेंस के संचालन के आरोप में जीवन दिव्य, रिलैक्स और एस हॉस्पिटल को तत्काल प्रभाव से सील कर दिया गया।
