कोलन कैंसर के 150 से अधिक मामले सामने आए

कैंसर मेडिसिन विभाग के डॉ. अमित सहरावत ने कहा कि कोलोरेक्टल कैंसर भारत में छठे सबसे आम कैंसर मामलों में से एक है। उन्होंने कहा कि फास्ट फूड, उच्च वसायुक्त आहार, लाल मांस, शराब और धूम्रपान जैसे कारक कोलन कैंसर के खतरे को बढ़ाते हैं। इसके अलावा आनुवंशिक कारक, मोटापा, तनाव और शारीरिक निष्क्रियता भी इस बीमारी को बढ़ावा देते हैं।

डॉ. सहरावत ने बताया कि पिछले साल कैंसर ओपीडी में कोलन कैंसर के 150 से ज्यादा मामले आए थे। जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में 40 साल के आसपास के युवा भी शामिल थे. डॉ. सहरावत ने कहा कि कोलन कैंसर से बचने के लिए नियमित व्यायाम, संतुलित आहार, अधिक फल और सब्जियों का सेवन और शराब और तंबाकू से दूरी बनाकर रखनी चाहिए। उन्होंने बताया कि जिन लोगों के परिवार में पहले कभी कोलन कैंसर रहा हो, उन्हें नियमित रूप से स्क्रीनिंग टेस्ट कराते रहना चाहिए।
