Ranchi: Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Ranchi arrested four persons and a minor for stealing 42 meter wire from a storage of Ranchi Railway Division. The accused along with the 16-year-old minor are Sahil Kachhap (21), Krishna Munda (21), Anuj Toppo (24) and Luv Munda (24), residents of Chutiya police station area of the state capital.The accused entered the storage on March 15 and stole wires worth Rs 5,900. “As soon as the incident came to light on Monday, the RPF started investigation. On Tuesday, wires were recovered from an abandoned railway quarter in Northern Railway Colony. Five people were caught red-handed while cutting the wires in the quarter,” the RPF said.
