उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रतापगढ़ जिले में एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना सामने आई है, जहां पूर्व प्रधान मुस्तका गुलशन उर्फ ​​मुन्ना की हत्या कर दी गई. उसका शव नहर में बोरे के अंदर मिला, जिससे पूरे इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई. यह मामला मांधाता कोतवाली क्षेत्र के सुमेरपुर गांव का है. सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को बाहर निकालकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया. शुरुआती जांच में हत्या का मामला सामने आया है, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है.

मुस्ताका गुलशन 18 मार्च से लापता था
जानकारी के मुताबिक, मुस्ताका गुलशन 18 मार्च को बाइक लेकर अपने घर से निकला था, लेकिन देर रात तक वापस नहीं लौटा. इससे परिजन चिंतित हो गये और मांधाता थाने में गुमशुदगी की रिपोर्ट दर्ज करायी. पुलिस ने तलाश शुरू की और आखिरकार उसका शव नहर से बरामद हुआ।

प्रेम प्रसंग बना हत्या का कारण
पुलिस जांच में पता चला कि मुस्ताका गुलशन का इलाके की शादीशुदा महिला सुमन गौतम से लंबे समय से प्रेम संबंध था. बताया जा रहा है कि मुस्ताका अपनी गर्लफ्रेंड पर मिलने के लिए दबाव बना रहा था और उसे ब्लैकमेल भी कर रहा था. इससे परेशान होकर महिला ने हत्या की साजिश रची.

रॉड से हमला कर हत्या, तीन लोग शामिल
पुलिस के मुताबिक 18 मार्च की रात सुमन ने मुस्ताका गुलशन को अपने मायके बुलाया. वहां सुमन, उसके भाई अतुल गौतम और उसके दोस्त अरुण गौतम ने मिलकर लोहे की रॉड से हमला कर उसकी हत्या कर दी। इसके बाद तीनों ने शव को बोरे में भरकर नहर में फेंक दिया, ताकि मामला छिप जाए.

पुलिस की कार्रवाई: प्रेमिका गिरफ्तार
घटना की जानकारी मिलने के बाद पुलिस ने तीनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ हत्या का मामला दर्ज कर लिया है. पुलिस ने मुख्य आरोपी सुमन गौतम को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है, जबकि अन्य आरोपियों की तलाश जारी है. पुलिस का कहना है कि मामले की गहराई से जांच की जा रही है.

परिवार में मचा कोहराम, मृतक 18 बच्चों का पिता था।
मुस्ताका गुलशन की हत्या से उनके परिवार में शोक की लहर है. वह 2016 में अपने गांव के प्रधान रह चुके हैं। उनकी दो पत्नियां थीं- पहली किस्मतुल निशा और दूसरी अंबिया बानो। दोनों पत्नियों से उनके कुल 18 बच्चे थे और पूरा परिवार एक साथ रहता था। इस घटना से पूरा इलाका सदमे में है और लोग हैरान हैं कि प्रेम संबंध इतना खतरनाक परिणाम दे सकता है.

The results showed hyper-concentrated, stagnant water instead of natural tidal flushing.“Simply put, all four indicators tell the same story – water is not moving the way it should in a healthy intertidal wetland,” Kumar said, pointing to blocked or restricted tidal flow.Instead of being regularly cleaned, wetlands are turning into stagnant, polluted basins.Activists directly blame the failure of governance.“The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) is largely responsible for what happened,” said climate activist Nandkumar Pawar. He said regulators like the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority and the forest department have “simply looked the other way”.He warned that wetlands are a public asset which is being directly destroyed.Flamingos depend on algae and microorganisms that thrive in balanced conditions. As water quality deteriorates, the food chain collapses, turning pastures into stressed habitats.While flamingos have adapted to degraded sites in the past, their absence now suggests that the system has crossed a critical threshold.“These wetlands were our pride. Today, they are being destroyed in full view,” said Rekha Sankhla of the Save Flamingo and Mangroves Forum. He urged authorities to treat the situation as a public health emergency.Calling for accountability, Sandeep Sarin of Navi Mumbai Environment Protection Society (NMEPS) said the laboratory results highlight “poisoned waters” driven by uncontrolled development.“CIDCO’s indifference – pouring concrete on conservation – is destroying these wetlands despite court orders,” he said, warning that flamingos are “the canary in the coal mine of our ecosystem”. Activist Pamela Cheema said, “CIDCO’s willful neglect at a time of the climate crisis has put groundwater and biodiversity at risk, and we urge immediate government intervention to save these wetlands.”
