New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party launched a scathing attack on Arvind on Saturday KejrivalA day after Raghav Chadha and six other Rajya Sabha MPs quit the party. BJP Called Kejriwal as “Delhi’s Rehman dacoit” and released fresh pictures of “Sheeshmahal 2”.Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma, in a press conference, accused Kejriwal of living lavishly despite his earlier claims of simplicity.He said, “…Delhi’s Rehman Dacoit, just like the sequel of the film ‘Dhurandhar’ was released, today we are going to unveil ‘Sheesh Mahal 2’…”

Verma alleged that the original “Sheesh Mahal” in Delhi was built when the city was battling the Covid wave.He said, “…Kejriwal built Sheesh Mahal in Delhi when Delhi was battling the wave of Corona virus…” People of Delhi were asking for Covid medicine and were dying. During that time, on the orders of Kejriwal, the work of Sheesh Mahal in Delhi did not stop for a single day…The BJP leader further claimed that after the election failures in Delhi, Kejriwal shifted his political focus to Punjab, putting pressure on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

He said, “…when our ‘Dhurandhar’ Delhi voters defeated Rehman Dacoit of Delhi, he moved to Punjab, increasing the troubles of Bhagwant Mann. Of the four big government residences around Bhagwant Mann’s house, one was occupied by Kejriwal, the other by former Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, the third by Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh and the third by Manish Sisodia….”Verma also targeted Kejriwal over his recent residence at 95 Lodhi Estate and accused him of abandoning his previous image of leading a humble life.He said, “…in Punjab, Bhagwant Mann is upset… he has built another Sheesh Mahal there. Today, in Delhi, he has been going to court for the last several years, demanding a bungalow. And when he got the bungalow, where he moved in yesterday, 95 Lodhi Estate. When its pictures came out, we were astounded. The man who had said he would live simply, lives luxuriously today…”The BJP also alleged that these properties were linked to funds from an alleged liquor scam case. There was no immediate reaction from Kejriwal or AAP on the allegations.
