In separate meetings with the President, while Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann demanded termination of membership of the six members from the state and stressed the need for a “right of recall” provision in the Constitution, MP Raghav Chadha submitted a memorandum alleging that “dangerous vendetta politics” were being carried out against him following his exit from AAP.Amidst all this, while addressing a gathering of Punjab MLAs who had accompanied Mann to Delhi, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal launched a scathing attack alleging that the BJP has stolen seven Rajya Sabha seats from Punjab, six of which the people of the state will take revenge for in the assembly elections next year. MP Swati Maliwal is a member of the Upper House from Delhi.Kejriwal also accused the BJP of “hijacking democracy” and “destroying” it and using central agencies like ED and CBI to topple governments, jail leaders and divert and add votes.After meeting the President, Mann said that he has submitted a memorandum signed by the MLAs of Punjab.
