And that’s the hardest thing to do.”“As far as I’m concerned, Best Picture at the Academy Awards should only be comedies. It’s understood that Best Picture of the Year is something very serious. It is the same. Writing ‘Scary Movie 3’ is a lot harder than writing ‘Chernobyl’. And I know this from personal experience. I also think people get into film criticism because of their love for comedy,” the writer-director said.“The Sheep Detectives” is Mazin’s adaptation of Leonie Swann’s “Three Bags Full”. This has been a passion project for him for the last two decades.
