New Delhi: A CCTV video of Twisha Sharma’s last moments before she was found dead in her marital home in Bhopal has surfaced.In footage shared by news agency PTI, the Noida woman was captured climbing a ladder towards the terrace at 7.20 am.The video shows 33-year-old Tvisha walking alone towards the terrace of her house in Katara Hills area on May 12. About an hour later, three men, reportedly her husband Samarth SinghA neighbor and a domestic help are seen attempting to give him CPR as he descends the stairs. Meanwhile, her mother-in-law Giribala Singh is seen going into a room. After a few seconds she comes out of the room and goes downstairs.Meanwhile, CPR efforts seem to be failing, after which people are seen taking him down to the ground floor. Samarth Singh, a lawyer, is currently absconding and the police have announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for any information.The two met through a dating app in 2024 and got married in December 2025.The case took a dramatic turn on Monday when Tvisha’s mother-in-law, a retired judge, publicly rejected the family’s allegations of dowry harassment and murder, and instead claimed that Tvisha had a history of psychiatric treatment and substance abuse.Giribala Singh alleged that Twisha was undergoing psychiatric counseling and was given drugs prescribed to a schizophrenic patient. He further claimed that Twisha confessed to consuming “large amounts of marijuana during her pregnancy”.She also accused Tvisha’s parents of pushing her into the glamor industry at a young age and later abandoning her, while also saying that the family had tried to save her when she was found hanging. Police said Tvisha’s allegations of alleged drug use were mentioned in the husband’s bail plea, but the SIT was investigating the case strictly under the sections included in the FIR, including dowry harassment and abetment of suicide, ACP Rajneesh Kashyap told PTI.
