New Delhi: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday dismissed the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha. Rahul GandhiThe alleged comments predicting the collapse of the NDA government have been described as “daydreaming” and “a mere fantasy”.This comes after the BJP alleged that Rahul Gandhi said during the Congress Minority Department’s Advisory Council meeting on Tuesday that the PM Modi-led government in the state will fall within a year.Responding to the comments, Fadnavis quipped that the Congress leader’s statement reminded him of the popular television serial ‘Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne’, a popular Doordarshan television show which centered around a man lost in unrealistic daydreams.“There used to be a popular television serial ‘Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne’. His comment is nothing more than that,” Fadnavis told reporters.The Chief Minister’s comments came while he was speaking at the inauguration of Godum Logistics Park in Nagpur. News agency PTI reported that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present in this program.Fadnavis said that the logistics park will greatly benefit the manufacturing sector in the region and strengthen Nagpur’s position as a logistics hub.“If we look at recent developments, the comprehensive logistics policy we have implemented has transformed Nagpur into a national logistics hub. The logistics park being built here will reduce operating costs,” he said.The Chief Minister further said that it is necessary for Indian businesses to reduce logistics expenses to compete globally and strengthen their place in international supply chains.He said, “If we want to be globally competitive and secure a place in the global supply chain, it is essential to reduce logistics costs. That is what we are enabling today through this platform.”
