Kolkata: Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said seven people lost their lives in rain-related incidents in six districts of West Bengal on Friday.The Chief Minister announced that the state government will give a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the kin of each deceased.“Seven deaths have been reported due to rain-related incidents including house collapse, lightning and lightning,” the official said at the state secretariat.The deaths were reported from South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly, West Medinipur and Purulia.Officials said detailed information regarding the incidents is awaited.
