New Delhi: An Army officer died after falling into a ditch during an anti-terrorist operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Saturday, officials said, quoting PTI.The officer, a lieutenant, was part of the security forces involved in Operation Sheruwali, which entered its 15th day. An operation is being conducted in Dorimal and Gambhir Mughlan areas to trace two to three Pakistani terrorists hiding in the forests of Rajouri district.According to officials, while taking part in the search operation, the officer slipped and fell into a 30 meter deep gorge in Dorimal area. He later succumbed to his injuries.Officials said that the body has been recovered.This is a developing story
