Jammu: Taking strong action over lapses in dealing with crimes against children, the SSP of Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district suspended the SHO of Ramgarh police station, a sub-inspector, two ASIs and a clerk for striking a compromise in a POCSO case. He has been attached to the police line pending investigation into the allegations.“This development comes as part of the ongoing efforts to ensure accountability and transparency of the Samba police. SSP Anuj Kumar, who took charge earlier this year, has been pushing for strict action against any misconduct by police personnel,” an officer said.In a related development, a special police officer has been transferred from Ramgarh police station to another police post.
