Zendaya talks about the fast pace of ‘Euphoria’ season 3 as the series heads toward its long-awaited return in April. Speaking at the premiere of his new film ‘The Drama’, the actor said that the shooting felt unusually compressed and moved so fast that it felt like it was a blur. She also shared that she has already watched some footage from the new season and is feeling optimistic about the end result.

In comments reported by Variety, Zendaya described the production as intense from start to finish. She said, “Oh my God, it was a whirlwind. I did the same things I did in eight months, like in four months.” He added, “It was like trying to get eight episodes together. It just blew me away.”The two-time Emmy winner, who plays Rue, also said she got an early glimpse of the new season. “I’ve seen a little bit,” he said. “I’m excited. I hope it turns out beautifully.” His update comes more than four years after season 2 ended and as anticipation for the show continues to grow.
‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Release Date and Cast
The third season is scheduled to premiere on April 12 on HBO. Returning cast members include Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demi, Sidney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane, and Maude Apatow. The new episodes will also introduce new faces, including Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Eli Roth and Sam Trammell.Creator Sam Levinson previously shared details of the story during an HBO Max presentation in December 2025. He added that Rue would be “south of the border in Mexico, deeply in debt to Laurie, trying to come up with some very innovative ways to pay it off.” She also reveals that Cassie and Nate have gotten married, while Cassie is very addicted to social media and is jealous of the way all her high school classmates are living big lives at the moment.“The new season finds Jules in art school, Maddie at a talent agency in Hollywood, and Lexie working as a showrunner’s assistant. This is the first season of the show following the death of Angus Cloud in 2023. Production began in February 2025 as the series was set to return in April.
