New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Uttarakhand government led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on completing four years and lauded its efforts in promoting development, ensuring good governance and promoting public welfare across the state.Responding to the Prime Minister’s message, Dhami expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to development. In a post on X, he said, “Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and good wishes for the development, good governance and public welfare of Uttarakhand.”Dhami said the state’s progress in the last four years reflects the faith and collective resolve of the people under Modi’s leadership. He pointed to key infrastructure initiatives including the Char Dham all-weather road project, which aims to make the pilgrimage safer and more accessible, and the Rishikesh-Karnprayag railway line, which is expected to significantly boost rail connectivity in the region.Modi lauded the government’s focus on improving connectivity in border areas and promoting winter tourism, saying such efforts have strengthened the local economy and helped curb migration.
