New Delhi: There was a security scare in the Delhi Assembly on Monday afternoon when a speeding car broke the barricade and entered the complex. The officers provided this information.According to the police, the vehicle was being driven recklessly when it collided with the security barricades outside the assembly complex and broke the main gate. The sudden intrusion caused panic at the site and security personnel rushed to respond.He told that the car with UP registration number broke gate number 2 and entered the assembly complex at around 2 pm.“The driver proceeded towards Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta’s office and placed a bouquet of flowers near the porch before retreating,” a Delhi Secretariat official said.The officers present at the spot attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver managed to flee soon after entering the premises.
