Organizer Festival Republic stood by Ye. In a statement released on Monday, managing director Melvyn Benn urged people to offer “apology and hope” to the artist.“We are not giving them the platform to propagate any opinion, only to present songs that are currently played on radio stations and streaming platforms in our country and are heard and enjoyed by millions of people,” the statement said.
