New Delhi: Srinagar Police has busted another multi-state network of Al-Falah type Lashkar-e-Taiba A painstaking, month-long investigation was launched following the arrest of two pakistani terrorist To allegedly receive, guide and arrange logistics for foreign terrorists who infiltrated into Jammu and Kashmir in March, he created a network of Overground Workers (OGWs) not only in kashmir But in other states like Haryana and Rajasthan.Abdullah alias Abu Hurera alias Ahmed, a resident of Kasur, Punjab, Pakistan, who had infiltrated via Gurez in 2010, and Mohammad Usman alias Khubaib, a resident of Lahore and had infiltrated into Baramulla in 2017, were nabbed from Malerkotla, Punjab, a month ago based on human and technical intelligence. Their interrogation revealed a network of OGWs that Hurrera had built in South Kashmir over the past 16 years and Usman in Baramulla since 2017, and which was now being expanded to include towns in Haryana and Rajasthan, especially in madrassas suspected to have links to Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Hurrera and Usman, both A-plus category terrorists, who have handled and commanded around 40 foreign terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir over the past few years and were working together since 2023, had traveled to Nuh and Mewat via Delhi at different times.So far, in the searches conducted at 19 places in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Haryana, six OGWs have been detained in Haryana, four in Rajasthan and more than a dozen in Jammu and Kashmir. Sources said the aim of the multi-state module was to create a LeT network outside Jammu and Kashmir with the help of Pakistani and LeT contacts; And it is used to establish hideouts for Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists and ultimately help them exit India with the help of forged documents arranged by the local OGW network. At least one Pakistani terrorist, Rabindranath Tagore, is said to have fled Rajasthan using forged identity and travel documents.The investigation also revealed the funding and financial patterns of LeT.More arrests may be made in the coming days, with investigators not ruling out footprints in more states. NIA is likely to take over this case.
