Chennai: Chief Minister mk stalin hit back at AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami For his comment for the second consecutive day that “Stalin would have gone to Covid”.At a campaign meeting in Chengalpet on Thursday, Stalin said he was not afraid of death. “Palaniswami, everyone will have to face death one day. Even this Stalin will die and be buried one day.” But no one has the guts to bury the schemes started by Stalin,” he said while campaigning for DMK candidates and TNCC chief K Selvaperunthagai. “As long as there are plans in Tamil Nadu, this Stalin will rule the state,” Stalin said, reminding him of late Chief Minister CN Annadurai’s statement.Stalin said that Palaniswami’s “curse”, as well as the curse of Palaniswami’s “masters in the RSS”, would not harm him. Stalin said, “I will continue to serve Tamil Nadu till my last breath.” He also said he has a lot of DMK achievements to speak of, while Palaniswami has nothing to speak of except AIADMK’s ‘Koovathur drama’, referring to the 2017 incident after the demise of J Jayalalithaa, in which AIADMK MLAs were held at a private resort in Koovathur near Mahabalipuram to select the CM candidate.Stalin then attacked the BJP, alleging that the saffron party had prepared “dangerous plans for TN” which they were planning to implement using Palaniswami. He said, “All the schemes of BJP are long term and dangerous. Palaniswami has been chosen to implement the schemes.” He asked Palaniswami to remove the words ‘Anna’ (Annadurai) and ‘Dravidian’ from the name of his party. Stalin said, “April 23 will be the day of judgment, where the last nails will be driven into your coffin.”
