Now, religious institutions that were closed for a limited time due to regional tensions have been reopened to the general public. The BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi has announced that it will reopen its doors to the public from Tuesday, April 14. On Saturday, April 11, Dubai’s Sri Krishna Temple, St. Mary’s Church and Guru Nanak Darbar reopened their doors to devotees, announcing timings and urging visitors to follow safety guidelines. The city’s Hindu temple also resumed its services on Friday, announcing a daily structured schedule of rituals. The temple announced that it remains open from 6 am to 6 pm daily with specific time slots for darshan and puja. Earlier, places of worship across Dubai were asked to move activities online until further notice as a precaution due to ongoing regional tensions. Churches canceled mass prayers, while temples and gurudwaras announced closure of their premises. However, since no drones or missiles were found from Iran, reopening of places of worship was initiated. It also marks a return to normal, regular life in Dubai where authorities are balancing public safety with community needs. Earlier, there were rumors of disruption of life in the country and reduced tourism, but the authorities rejected all the misinformation and invited tourists from all over the world to visit the UAE like every year.
