Trumpiana: Straight Talk – Tough Guy, Nice Guy, Goodbye!

Donald Trump considers himself a straight talker. But they found themselves in total trouble in the standoff over control of the vital Strait of Hormuz as a battered but resilient Iran hardened its stance on the peace deal.According to a Wall Street Journal insider, as soon as Tehran halted the second round of Islamabad talks before they could even begin, the master of coercive diplomacy considered bombing them again.“…We are offering a very fair and reasonable deal, and I hope they will accept it, because if they don’t, the United States will destroy every single power plant and every single bridge in Iran. No more, Mr. Good Man…” He threatened Truth Social. But he was the one who blinked after the first few hours, announcing an indefinite extension of the ceasefire at the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir and the Prime Minister. Shahbaz Sharifof Pakistan” to allow Iran’s “seriously fragmented” government to “come up with a unified proposal”.As the standoff continued throughout the week, when the US Navy seized an Iranian container ship and Tehran attacked three commercial ships and seized two of them in the maritime standoff, Trump again started talking tough. He claimed, “We have complete control over the Strait of Hormuz. No ship can enter or depart without United States Navy approval.” “It has been ‘sealed tight’ until Iran is able to make a deal!!!”Trump ordered the U.S. Navy to “shoot down and kill any boats, small boats (their naval ships total 159, are on the bottom of the ocean!)” that lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz, and to step up efforts to clear existing mines “at a threefold level.”Despite growing global economic consequences, Trump insisted there is “no time pressure” in negotiations with Iran and “no deadline” to end the war.“Please be advised that I am possibly the least stressed person ever to hold this office,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I have all the time in the world, but not Iran – the clock is ticking!”NBC News tallied 134 published calls between reporters and Trump since the war began on February 28, reporting that the Trump team’s frequent interactions with Iran were taking place mostly on social media. Tehran rejected many of Trump’s claims, such as Iran’s enriched uranium would be removed, the Strait of Hormuz would be jointly destroyed and never closed again, nuclear enrichment would be suspended indefinitely, Iran would stop supporting its foreign proxies, and no money would be exchanged. Iran hit back, saying, “The US President made 7 claims in an hour, all 7 of which are false.” “With these lies, they won’t win the war and certainly won’t achieve anything in negotiations.” According to the London-based Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), Iran’s diplomats around the world also joined the meme war, resorting to “shitposting” and “clapback” with sharp, combative and often sarcastic responses.Following Trump’s profanity-laced threat to Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranian Embassy in Zimbabwe jokingly commented “We have lost the keys” in a post that received 6.9 million views and more than 93,000 likes. Other embassy accounts quickly chimed in to further the joke. The embassy in South Africa commented, “Shh…the key is under the pot. Just open to friends.” “Open to friends,” the embassy in Bulgaria said. Epstein’s friends want the keys.”According to the ISD, in the first 50 days of the war, posts from the Iranian embassy and official accounts were collectively viewed nearly 900 million times and received 22 million likes – a 30-fold increase in likes compared to the previous 50 days. But a stunned Trump, who boasts “I’m winning a lot of wars,” accused “fake news” like “the failing New York Times, the absolutely horrible and disgusting Wall Street Journal” of supporting “Iran to win, but that’s not going to happen, because I’m in charge!”And as the Trump administration took the first steps toward returning more than $166 billion collected from tariffs struck down by the Supreme Court, Trump encouraged companies not to seek tariff refunds.“If they don’t do that that’s fantastic. If they don’t do that, I’ll remember them,” Trump told CNBC before criticizing the Republican justices for “not staying together” and giving “the Democrats victory after victory.”His “completely ridiculous” tariff decision is being called “a travesty!” He called it “an unnecessary and costly slap in the face to the United States and a major victory for its adversaries.”Meanwhile, the Pentagon released details on its record $1.5 trillion budget request, showing that tens of billions of dollars will be spent on Trump’s “Golden Fleet” warship project, the “Golden Dome” missile defense program and other Trump military priorities.Despite judicial hurdles, Trump has remained obsessed with talking about his pet $400 million ballroom project so far this year, according to a Washington Post analysis. And as Trump’s disapproval reached the highest level of his second term, Trump revealed plans to release “interesting” documents related to UFOs “very, very soon,” according to a New York Times polling average.“We found a lot of very interesting documents, I must say, and the first releases will be going out very soon so you can go out and see if that phenomenon is true,” he said at an event in Phoenix.Trump did not disclose what was found in a review of the government’s UFO files in February, when he accused former President Barack Obama of improperly sharing classified information after Obama called aliens “real” in a podcast interview. – Maybe a new site to deport aliens, as Uncle Sam calls foreigners – or just bomb!(by arrangement with US market)

Riteish Deshmukh on the success of Dhurandhar and the changing preferences of the audience in cinema: ‘You can’t blind yourself to the changes’. hindi movie news

Riteish Deshmukh on the success of Dhurandhar and the changing tastes of the audience in cinema: 'You can't blind yourself to the changes'
In Riteish Deshmukh’s view, the success of Hindi films like ‘Dhurandhar’ reflects an important cultural shift; Audiences are increasingly attracted towards innovative storytelling. He encourages creators to break free from traditional frameworks, and emphasizes that the richness of Indian cinema lies in presenting captivating stories, no matter the genre.

Ritesh Deshmukh Has said that after the success of ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, Hindi cinema cannot be limited to one format. The actor-filmmaker, who is gearing up for the release of his historical drama ‘Raja Shivaji’, said filmmakers should be aware of the changing tastes of the audience but should not assume that only one style of storytelling will work. He said Indian audiences are broad and open to different types of films when the story connects.

Riteish Deshmukh spoke on changing Hindi cinema

According to Bollywood Hungama, Riteish talked about changes in cinema while discussing ‘Raja Shivaji’. Commenting on the impact of Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar’ films, he said, “I think one has to be really aware of the changes happening around one. You can’t blind yourself to the changes. And when something really works, something great like Dhurandhar or Dhurandhar The Revenge happens and there is a different narrative, different stories, style of telling, different approach and a new hero… a new kind of hero. So, it is always welcome. You feel excited about it.”

He said the success of one format should not cause the industry to ignore other stories. Riteish said, “But I just feel that our audience is very huge and if there is a good story they will come out and watch it and also celebrate it.”

‘Raja Shivaji’ release and cast details

Riteish said, “If there is any particular film, I think it would be really limiting on our part to think that only these kind of stories or these kind of things will work. Because when Dhurandhar came, it was one of its kind, when Saiyara came, it was one of its kind. So, if you look at the films that have actually worked… when Chhava came, no one thought that it would do this kind of business for that genre.”He said that these films proved that audiences accept many types of cinema. He added, “So, ultimately all these films have set standards for themselves and it proves, look at the bigger picture.”Ritesh plays the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in ‘Raja Shivaji’.
