इसके बाद उपचुनाव हुए, लेकिन राज्य में ग्राम पंचायत सदस्यों की 3846 सीटें, ग्राम प्रधान की 16 सीटें और क्षेत्र पंचायत सदस्य की तीन सीटें अभी भी खाली हैं। अब पंचायती राज निदेशालय ने यह प्रस्ताव शासन को भेजा है। विभिन्न सीटें सामान्य होने के बाद इन पदों के लिए तीसरी बार चुनाव होंगे।

रात में जेसीबी लेकर पहुंचे और सड़क व दीवार तोड़ दी
शिकायतकर्ता अजय मौर्य के मुताबिक, बीती रात करीब 10 बजे नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष के पति आशीष अपने कई गुर्गों और कर्मचारियों के साथ जेसीबी लेकर मौके पर पहुंचे। उन्होंने कुछ दिन पहले बनी सीसी रोड को खोद डाला और अजय की जमीन पर बनी दीवार भी गिरा दी। इस दौरान जब अजय ने विरोध किया तो उसे धमकी दी गयी.

पहले भी कब्जे के प्रयास का आरोप
अजय मौर्य ने पुलिस को बताया कि यह पहली बार नहीं है. इससे पहले भी आरोपी आबादी की जमीन पर कब्जा करने की नियत से आए थे। उस वक्त उन्होंने डायल 112 पर फोन किया था, जिसके बाद पुलिस के पहुंचते ही सभी लोग भाग गये. लेकिन इस बार वे रात में फिर आये और सड़क व दीवार को क्षतिग्रस्त कर दिया.

डराने-धमकाने का आरोप
शिकायतकर्ता का कहना है कि जब उसने विरोध किया तो आरोपियों ने कहा कि उसका कोई कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता, क्योंकि यह उसकी सरकार है और प्रशासन भी उसके साथ है. इस घटना के बाद पीड़ित ने मुख्यमंत्री पोर्टल और उच्च अधिकारियों से भी शिकायत की है।

प्रशासन ने शुरू की जांच
इस मामले पर बीजेपी जिलाध्यक्ष धर्मराज मौर्य ने कहा कि यह नगर पालिका का मामला है और जमीन का निर्धारण एसडीएम करेंगे. कोखराज थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि समस्या समाधान दिवस में शिकायत मिली थी, जिसकी जांच के लिए नगर पालिका ईओ राम सिंह और अकाउंटेंट को निर्देश दिए गए हैं। जांच के बाद ही आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
