The United States' war with Iran: Donald Trump supports Mark Levin in the internal MAGA conflict with Megan Kelly

The war of words between conservative commentators Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin over US-Israeli air strikes on Iran escalated Sunday, with Kelly accusing Levin of being a “micro-p****.”Levin, who has long been described as a Tehran hawk, appears to have initiated the latest exchange by posting his disapproval of Kelly’s statement opposing the conflict, the Independent reports.“Poor Megyn Kelly,” he wrote on Twitter. “An emotionally disturbed, vulgar and irritable girl. She has completely exposed and destroyed herself.“He’s everything people say about him, but worse. Never an intelligent, thoughtful or cogent comment. Completely toxic.”Kelly responded: “Micro-p**** Mark Levin thinks he has a monopoly on vulgarity. He obsessively tweets the most vulgar, filthy words about me.“Literally more than some of the stalkers I’ve arrested. He doesn’t like it when women like me retaliate. BC of his micro-p****.”Levine replied: “It’s a busy Sunday morning for Megyn Kelly. She wakes up and ‘micro-p****is’ is on her mind.“Suffice to say, if it talks like a whore, and posts like a whore, then it’s… well, you know the rest. Shalom!”President Donald Trump then intervened on his platform, Truth Social, to support Levin.“Mark Levin, truly a great American patriot, is under siege by others with somewhat lesser intelligence, ability and love for our country,” the president said, calling Levin “tough, strong and brilliant” and noting that another Fox host, Sean Hannity, had nicknamed him “The Great One.”Trump added: “He is a true conservative and an intelligent man, far smarter than many of his critics, but, above all, he is a man of great intelligence and common sense who truly loves our country.“When you hear others unfairly attacking Mark, remember that they are jealous and angry human beings whose ‘influence’ is much less than the public realizes, and will, now that they know where I stand, diminish exponentially.”Levin and Kelly have a history of bitter onstage feuding, with Levin earlier this month calling Kelly “an evil, egotistical lunatic.”Late last year, he attacked her after she defended MAGA activist Jack Posobiec, whom Levin accused of having ties to anti-Semites, labeling Posobiec, Kelly and fellow right-wing influencer Candace Owens “very appalling criminals.”Kelly retorted by calling them “old, angry anti-Christian lunatics” before Levin dismissed the three as “woke reach psychos and groper-bigots.”As the feud continued, Levin referenced an old culture war controversy involving Kelly: “Meg Kelly, whose ratings were so bad on NBC that she became a laughing stock, was blamed for promoting blackface on Halloween.“You see, she was always a degenerate fanatic. That’s why she looks good with Candace Owens and Jack Posobiec. This is why she snitches on Katalson [Tucker Carlson]”Kelly responded: “You’re just annoying because I’m not afraid of you or your baseless abuse. You’re an old, irrelevant, bitter, angry man who could never get on Fox News primetime.“We used to laugh at you there for your red-faced tantrums about everything.”

Aviation Minister told Rajya Sabha, Indigo gave Rs 163.9 crore in travel coupons

New Delhi: Compensation worth Rs 163.92 crore has already been paid in the form of travel coupons to passengers affected by the mass cancellation of flights by IndiGo in early December, Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu informed the Rajya Sabha on Monday.Responding to supplementary questions during Question Hour, he said more than 3.6 lakh customers were affected by the incident and Rs 43.8 crore has been distributed so far as compensation after the ticket verification process. Nadu assured that the government is taking several necessary measures to ensure that such incidents do not happen again. Hundreds of flights operated by IndiGo were canceled in the first week of December due to shortage of pilots after the expiry of Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL). The government blamed the airline for lack of adequate planning in implementing the second phase of FDTL norms. This gave the airline a one-time exemption from implementing the norms. Responding to a specific question on the IndiGo crisis, the minister said the civil aviation ministry is consulting airlines on a daily basis before implementing the new norms. He said, “But even after this has happened, we are still taking more precautions so that such a situation does not happen again.”Saying that the ministry is engaged with the airline to ensure greater compensation to passengers, Nadu said the airline has also extended coupons or travel coupons worth Rs 10,000 as a gesture of care. “For this, Rs 163.9 crore has already been distributed to the passengers. And more, if they can verify their travel timings at that specific time,” Naidu said.Regarding the IndiGo incident, the minister said that DGCA is in constant touch with the airlines. “This was a typical example where the new FDTL norms came into force and it was the airlines that had to look at their internal operations and say if FDTL is going to be implemented, how many more pilots do we need and how will we route the crew rostering so that operations are not impacted,” Naidu said. Naidu said, “In these three months alone, IndiGo has appointed more than 246 pilots… We have also brought 10% operations to IndiGo. Therefore, several necessary measures have been taken so that such an incident does not happen again.”

Congress leader Kharge raised LPG crisis in Rajya Sabha, government hit back on ‘politics on shortage’. india news

Congress leader Kharge raised LPG crisis in Rajya Sabha, government hit back on 'politics on shortage'

New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday raised the LPG crisis arising out of conflict in West Asia and asked why the government did not plan in advance for LPG imports or make alternative arrangements despite being aware of regional tensions. “If the government was aware of regional tensions then why did it not make alternative arrangements? Why was the opposition not taken on board for a coordinated response to public concerns.” Why is the government not taking any measures to stop hoarding and black marketing of LPG? This crisis not only exposes our mismanagement but also our weak domestic and foreign policy.”Kharge’s presentation, which lasted more than the 3 minutes given to each member during Zero Hour, drew a sharp reaction from House leader J.P. Nadda, who accused the opposition of creating chaos and indulging in politics over the LPG shortage instead of standing with the government as it manages a situation not of India’s own making but entirely caused by international developments. Reminding Kharge of Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri’s earlier statement in the Lok Sabha on the LPG situation, Nadda reminded that Congress MPs had not even listened to him. Nadda claimed that a Congress leader himself was caught hoarding LPG. Earlier, Kharge said the LPG crisis has created panic across the country, which has adversely impacted restaurants, hostels and commercial establishments besides poor, middle class families. Recalling that India imports LPG to meet 60% of its domestic needs, he said 90% of these imports are through the Strait of Hormuz. “Both availability and price stability of LPG have become a matter of serious concern...MSMEs and commercial users are facing problems in securing LPG refills. It is worrying that some establishments have closed operations while some are paying up to Rs 5000 per cylinder.”Pointing to Puri’s claim that there is no shortage of LPG, Kharge alleged that the ground reality is different. “When India was issuing advisories to its citizens in Iran warning of the deterioration in the situation, it should have also warned of the adverse impact on vital sea lanes and energy supplies. We should have been prepared accordingly. The government was aware of the impending situation in the Strait of Hormuz. Therefore, if advance planning and alternative arrangements for LPG imports had been made, we would not have had to face this crisis,” he said.

Sanju Samson up, Ishan Kishan down: Ricky Ponting explains the bold decision that shaped India’s T20 World Cup title defense

Ricky Ponting said India’s decision to promote Sanju Samson to open the batting and send Ishan Kishan at No. 3 proved crucial to their T20 World Cup 2026 victory. Following this change, India became the first team in the history of the tournament to successfully defend the title. Samson had earlier lost his place at the top after a poor performance in the series against New Zealand.

Kishan opened for India in the first five matches of the World Cup, but was dropped down the order after being out for a duck in the Super 8 match against South Africa. Once Samson returned to the top, He scored 321 runs in five matches at an average of 80.25..

‘I have to make a big call’

Ponting said that Samson flourished because he got full support from the captain and the coaching staff, adding that a player often needs trust, assurance and confidence from the team management to perform at his best.

“It was a really big decision – moving Ishan Kishan lower down the order to get Sanju Samson back at the top. It’s a big decision, but in the end it worked out really well,” Ponting said on the ICC.

“As a player – and I’m speaking here as a coach and former captain too – you really need the support of the captain and the coaching staff. Sometimes, just a pat on the back or a hand on the shoulder, when someone says, ‘Look mate, we’re with you, we believe in you, and we think you’re the right man for the role,’ that’s all a player needs to hear,” Ponting said.

‘We want Sanju’

Samson found his top form with an unbeaten 97 in India’s virtual quarter-final against West Indies. He then scored 89 runs in the seven-run win over England in the semi-finals. before scoring another 89 in the final India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

“When you have quality like Sanju, and the confidence of the captain and coach behind you, then only great things can happen. I don’t know what happened inside the Indian camp in the last few weeks, but it certainly looked like that from the outside.

“It seemed as if the team had decided: ‘If we want to win this tournament, we need Sanju at the top, playing his best cricket and full of confidence.’ And that’s exactly what they got,” Ponting said.

Samson was named Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance. He was also included in the ICC Team of the Tournament along with Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah.

New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders have faced many problems ahead Indian Premier League 2026 season. The team first lost the Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman After the Board of Control for Cricket in India (bcci) asked the franchise to release him from the team.KKR bought Mustafizur for Rs 9.20 crore during the auction after a bidding war with Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals. However, the move sparked controversy amid political tension, leading to the intervention of the BCCI.BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia confirmed that the board had asked KKR to release the player due to the sensitive situation surrounding the signing.

Harshit Rana’s injury is a matter of concern

After this, KKR got the second blow in the form of young Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana. His participation in IPL 2026 is uncertain after he was seen on crutches during the BCCI Naman Awards 2026 in Mumbai.Rana was to receive the award for Best International Debut (Male), but he could not walk up to the stage due to his injury, forcing Arun Dhumal to step down and present him with the award. The fast bowler later underwent knee surgery on February 9 and is expected to take two to three months to recover, raising doubts over whether he will be fit for the upcoming IPL season. His possible absence could weaken KKR’s pace attack, where he has played a key role in recent years.

potential boost with Mathisha Pathirana

Despite the setbacks, there may be some positive news for KKR. Player agent Amila Kalugagale recently posted a “fence man” emoji on Instagram, which many believe signals good news regarding Sri Lankan fast bowler Mathiesha Pathirana.Mathisha Pathirana suffered an injury while playing for the Sri Lanka national cricket team during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, causing him to miss the remainder of the tournament and raising doubts over his availability for the Indian Premier League 2026. The fast bowler had taken two wickets at an economy of 6.05 in three matches before being sidelined. However, the post confirms that he has fully recovered and is fit to play, and he is expected to play a key role in the Kolkata Knight Riders pace attack.KKR has also included Zimbabwean fast bowler. blessings to muzarabani As a backup option. Nevertheless, changing Rana’s role, especially in the crucial death overs, could still be a challenge for the team as they prepare for the new season.
