Kalki Koechlin reveals how heartbreak affected her mental and physical health. He revealed that the emotional distress escalated into severe sleep problems over several months. “I suffered insomnia for several months because of the heartbreak and it really made me realize how psychological it all is.”
Kalki Koechlin has sleepless nights
The actress told how during that time her nights became restless and unpredictable. She shared that she would often wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to go back to sleep. “I couldn’t sleep, I would wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning and play guitar or do something to keep myself busy, because there was no way to go back to sleep.” Engaging in small activities became his way of managing those long hours.Kalki also recalled how lack of sleep had started affecting her work routine. She said she was feeling distracted and mentally exhausted due to the constant fatigue. “I remember on days when I had to work, I felt like I didn’t know if I was in a dream state or awake, I was really confused, wondering, ‘Is this really happening, or am I still asleep?’ It continued like this for about four months,” she further revealed.
