New Delhi: In a big development, the former India spinner Harbhajan Singh Joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday, ending his tenure. Aam Aadmi Party (You).Harbhajan, a member of India’s World Cup-winning squads at the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 and 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, was nominated by AAP for Rajya Sabha in 2022 as one of its five candidates from Punjab.He is one of several AAP MPs to join the BJP along with Raghav Chadha.Harbhajan, who played 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20Is for India between 1998 and 2016, entered politics by joining AAP.
