According to the prosecution, Sameer had gone to Godfrey Phillips India office to attend a board meeting as executive director on May 30, 2024. She alleged that Prasad, on Bina’s instructions, prevented her from entering the boardroom and assaulted her when she insisted; He claimed that the index finger of his right hand was broken and he lodged an FIR in June 2024.On March 1, 2025, the police filed a chargesheet naming Prasad as the main accused, while acquitting Beena and Bhasin due to lack of sufficient evidence.
