Dutch PM Rob Jetten raises issue of 2016 kidnapping
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten pressed India for the return of a young girl, who was allegedly abducted by her father in 2016, when she was two, from Amsterdam and brought to India.“We also talked about the issue of Insia being kidnapped by her father and brought to India,” Jeten said on Twitter after meeting PM Narendra Modi. The father was convicted and sentenced to eight years in prison. Indian officials did not comment, saying only that the matter was sub judice. Jetton took up the 2016 kidnapping case.
