Quoting PTI, director Nitish Tiwari talked about the lengthy process behind the film. He said, “To reach this moment, it took me personally seven years. Filmmaking is an imaginary and lonely process. Every moment of these seven years, I have imagined this moment and what the reaction would be when it came out.” He further said, ‘Seeing your reaction today, I feel that these seven years are worth those seven years. Many people have worked on this film. We hope we get a lot of love from all of you.”

Teaser of ‘Ramayana’ released on Hanuman Jayanti

The makers unveiled the two minute 38 second teaser on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. It offers a glimpse into the world of Lord Rama, from battlefields to grand palaces and dense forests. Ranbir Kapoor is seen as the king and warrior of Ayodhya in royal attire adorned with heavy gold jewellery. The teaser focuses on Ram’s journey.
