Kohli, who has been in poor form in IPL 2026, went off the field with an ankle injury during the previous match against Mumbai Indians, raising concerns over his availability for Wednesday’s game. However, the star batsman spent time in the nets with his knee bandaged, which has reduced concerns about his fitness for the time being. Alopecia Areata Treatment: Home Remedies to Cure Baldness in Women

Alopecia Areata Treatment: Home Remedies to Cure Baldness in Women
From coconut oil massage to onion juice and aloe vera, discover natural remedies for hair loss in women. The article emphasizes addressing underlying causes such as stress and diet, while also advising against hair-damaging practices. Patience and consistency are key, with results usually visible within a few weeks.

Seeing a bald spot can be a real shock. It’s a scary feeling — one day you’re styling your hair as usual, and the next day, you’re suddenly tilting your head in the mirror, trying to figure out how to cover up that patch that definitely wasn’t there last week. If you’re going through this right now, we want you to know that you’re not alone, and more importantly, you don’t have to just sit there and accept it.Before we get into what you can do at home, let’s be real for a second: Hair loss in women is complicated. This can be triggered by anything from high stress and hormonal changes to not getting enough iron or wearing your ponytail too tight for too long. Home remedies are great for aiding regrowth, but they work best when you’re also looking at the “why” behind the hair loss. That said, if the space is relatively new or looks bland, these natural approaches can do wonders to wake up your scalp and get things moving in the right direction.

coconut oil massage:old school classic

Coconut oil isn’t something your grandmother swore by; There is real science in this. Unlike many other oils, it actually goes deep into the hair roots to prevent protein loss, which keeps your hair from breakage. But the real secret isn’t just the oil – it’s the massage. How to do it: Heat a little oil so that it is comfortable to touch. Spend 5 to 10 minutes gently massaging the area using circular motions with your fingers.“Why”: That physical massage gets blood flowing straight to the follicles, which acts as a wake-up call to dormant hair.Frequency: Aim for 2-3 times a week. Leave it on overnight if possible, or at least for a few hours before washing off.

Onion Juice: Smells awesome, works great

I know, the smell is strong. But onion juice has become a massive trend for a reason. It is rich in sulfur, an important building block for collagen and hair proteins. How to do it: Grate or blend an onion, squeeze out its juice and apply it directly on the patch. Leave it on for about 20 to 30 minutes before washing it off thoroughly.“Why”: It is known to promote blood circulation and has been shown in some studies to actually help with hair fall.Pro Tip: If the smell is too strong, add a few drops of rosemary or lavender essential oil to help mask it.

aloe vera: Scalp Reliever

Sometimes, hair stops growing because there is too much stress on the scalp — think inflammation, dryness, or irritation. Aloe vera is basically a spa day for your hair follicles.

istockphoto-1178385289-612x612

How to do it: Use fresh gel if you can get it. Rub it directly on your scalp and leave it on for 30-40 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water.“Why”: It clears clogged follicles and calms any inflammation, creating the “perfect soil” for hair growth.Frequency: You can do this 2 or 3 times a week quite easily.

Castor Oil: Thick, Sticky, and Gritty

Castor oil is a “heavy hitter” of hair oils. It is rich in ricinoleic acid, which is famous for helping in thickening of hair. How to do it: Because it’s so thick (almost like honey), mix it with a little almond or coconut oil to make it easier to spread. Massage with this and leave it overnight.“Why”: It deeply nourishes the roots and provides a protective barrier that keeps the scalp healthy.Frequency: Once or twice a week is enough – this is very heavy, so don’t overdo it.

Fenugreek (Methi): Underrated Powerhouse

If you have fenugreek seeds in your kitchen, you have a powerful remedy for hair. These seeds are rich in nicotinic acid and protein, which form hair. How to do it: Soak the seeds overnight, grind them into a paste the next morning and apply that “mask” on your scalp. Leave it on for 30 minutes.“Why”: This is one of the best traditional ways to strengthen roots and speed up growth in thin areas.

Garlic Oil: High Intensity

Like onion, garlic is also a sulfur powerhouse. This is great for stimulating the area if you feel that growth has completely stopped. How to do it: Crush some cloves and heat them in some coconut oil. Let it cool, strain and use that oil as a spot treatment once a week.

Stress control: the solution we all ignore

We can apply all the oil in the world to our scalp, but if our cortisol levels are at their peak, our hair will remain in the “rest” phase. Stress-related shedding (telogen effluvium) is incredibly common in women. The Plan: We know “don’t stress” is easier said than done, but try prioritizing 7-8 hours of sleep and maybe five minutes of deep breathing or yoga. When your nervous system settles down, your hair cycle usually falls into line.

Eat for your hair: growth starts from the inside

Your hair is the last part of your body to receive nutrients; Your heart and lungs get first dibs. If you’re not eating enough, your hair is the first thing to “shut down” your body.Focus on: getting enough protein (lentils, eggs, cheese), iron (spinach and dates), and healthy fats (nuts and seeds). If you are iron deficient, no amount of onion juice will fix the problem.

what you need to stop doing

Sometimes, what you stop doing is more important than what you start. If you have bald spots, avoid these:High-Tension Style: No tight buns, braids, or ponytails that pull at the roots.

try home remedies

Stop hair fall naturally with these effective home remedies: Coconut oil massage: Nourishes the scalp and strengthens the hair follicles. Aloe Vera Gel Applications: Soothes the scalp, reduces inflammation, and promotes hair growth. Onion Juice Treatment: Rich in sulphur, it promotes collagen production and reduces hair fall. Egg Mask Therapy: Provides proteins and nutrients to nourish and strengthen hair. Green tea rinse: Stimulates hair growth and prevents breakage.

Excessive heat: Put the flat iron away for a while.Harsh chemicals: Avoid strong bleaches or perms until you see regrowth.

How long does it actually take?

Here’s the honest, unvarnished truth: Hair growth is a slow game. By Friday you will not see hair on your entire head.4-6 weeks: You may start to see small, fluffy “baby hairs.”2-3 months: You will notice the patch starting to fill in more significantly.Consistency is the only way it works. If you change treatments every three days, you will not see results.

When it’s time to see a professional

Home remedies are great, but they’re not magic. You should definitely call a dermatologist if:This place is getting bigger very fast.Your scalp feels painful, itchy, or looks very red.Your hair is falling out in large clumps. You have other symptoms like extreme fatigue or irregular periods (which may point to thyroid or PCOS problems).Dealing with baldness is an emotional rollercoaster, but it usually isn’t permanent. Think of these tips as a way to be kind to yourself and your scalp. Be patient, consistent, and give your body the nutrients and rest it needs to do its job.Hair takes time to grow… but it really does happen. Just keep at it.

Beijing sacks senior diplomat Sun Weidong; No explanation given as investigation into top ranks intensifies

Beijing sacks senior diplomat Sun Weidong; No explanation given as investigation into top ranks intensifies

China removed its Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Sun Weidong from his post, according to an official announcement from China’s Ministry of Human Resources on Tuesday. This decision was taken by the State Council, the country’s top administrative body. However, no reason or timeline was given for the removal of the top diplomat.According to records on China’s Foreign Ministry website, Sun Weidong’s last public engagement was a meeting with the ambassadors of Brunei and Malaysia to China on March 13. Two days ago, he had held talks with Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi to discuss bilateral cooperation, according to a post on Hashmi’s X account. The ministry’s brief statement also mentioned the removal of another senior official, An Lusheng, from the post of deputy director of the National Railway Administration. Both departures come amid sustained scrutiny of China’s high-ranking officials, often prompting disciplinary measures or reshuffles within the government.Although officials did not specify whether Sun faces investigation or reassignment, the lack of details has fueled speculation about possible disciplinary action. The dismissals come as part of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption campaign that has been going on for more than a decade now.

Who is Sun Weidong?

Sun Weidong is a senior Chinese diplomat who served as China’s Ambassador to India from 2019 to 2022, a period marked by a sharp decline in bilateral relations. Notably, Weidong also served as China’s ambassador to India during the border clash at Galwan Valley in 2020, following which India banned 59 Chinese mobile apps and tightened scrutiny of Chinese investments.Sun attracted attention for his comments during the crisis, where he blamed India for provoking the clashes and said it was not China’s responsibility to de-escalate, further straining relations. He remains as ambassador until October 2022. In his farewell speech, Sun cautioned against viewing India-China relations through a Western geopolitical lens, warning that such an approach would lead the two neighbors to view each other as a rival and a threat.

Jinping’s anti-corruption campaign

The campaign, launched in late 2012, has been described as one of the most extensive in the party’s history. The initiative was strengthened by the “eight rules” implemented in December 2012 to cut wasteful spending. It targets both “tiger and fly”, meaning high and low ranking officials, if they are accused of misconduct. In 2025 alone, China investigated more than one million corruption cases and punished more than 938,000 individuals, according to data from the Central Discipline Inspection Commission and the National Supervisory Commission. The commission’s year-end report said those disciplined were 69 provincial or ministerial-level officials, 4,155 bureau-level officials, 35,000 county-level officials, and 125,000 township-level officials.Senior military officials have also been impressed by Xi’s sweeping campaign, which continues to reshape the ranks of China’s government and armed forces.

‘MAGA Grandma’ Sharon Simmons came to Trump from Arkansas for DoorDash delivery: ‘Nobody is claiming it was real’

'एमएजीए दादी' शेरोन सिमंस ट्रम्प को डोरडैश डिलीवरी के लिए अरकंसास से आईं: 'कोई भी यह दावा नहीं कर रहा है कि यह वास्तविक था'

Sharon Simmons, who delivered McDonald’s packets to Trump at the White House on Monday, is a ‘MAGA grandma’ who was flown in from Arkansas for the photo-op.

President Donald Trump receiving a DoorDash delivery from Sharon Simmons at the White House sparked a major controversy as it was nothing more than a PR tactic and Simmons was a known MAGA supporter. Simmons, a grandmother of 10, has completed more than 14,000 deliveries and has been working with DoorDash since 2022. But it’s unclear why 58-year-old Simmons was flown in from Arkansas and why a local doordasher was not chosen for the job.Trump reportedly gave Simmons a $100 tip after handing him two McDonald’s bags on Monday. As she stood beside him during a press conference, he asked her if she supported transgender athletes in women’s sports.Simmons responded, “I don’t really have an opinion on it.” “I’m here about no tax on tips.”Trump asked her if she voted for him but her answer was unclear as she said ‘maybe’. But she is a well-known face as she has appeared with MAGA leaders in various videos. Republican Representative David Kustoff posted about hearing from Simmons at a Ways and Means Committee field hearing in Nevada on July 28, 2025, saying he shared how the One Big Beautiful bill would “make a real difference in his life.”Simmons’ husband was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in early 2025, and Trump asked her during the photo-op about her husband’s battle with cancer. Simmons said he has the wonderful DoorDash family to thank for the meeting with Trump. “They called me and asked me if I was up for it…and I said, yes.”DoorDash said this was apparently a planned event and no one claimed otherwise. “Nobody is claiming that this was an actual delivery,” Julian Crowley, DoorDash’s public affairs officer, said in a post on X. “This was clearly and obviously a planned event to mark the beginning of a new policy. Claims that Sharon is a prop, plant or an actor are completely false and baseless. She is a dasher and she attended to support a policy that benefits her.Max Rettig, DoorDash’s global head of public policy, said in a statement that Monday’s delivery “represents something bigger than a single delivery” and that Dashers across the country collectively saved “hundreds of millions of dollars” last year under the no-tips-tax policy.

Archaeologists discover 5,000-year-old human bone cups and masks in China’s Yangtze River Delta. world News

Archaeologists discover 5,000-year-old human bone cups and masks in China's Yangtze River Delta

Recent archaeological excavations in China’s Yangtze River Delta have revealed complex socio-cultural practices of the Neolithic Liangzhu civilization, approximately 5000 years old. Using remains from the Zhongjiagang site, researchers have found that human bones were regularly used as a source of functional and ritual objects such as ‘skull cups’ and ‘skeleton masks’. Unlike normal burials, where the dead were respected, these bones were found deposited in urban canals, suggesting a major change in the way early urban residents viewed human remains. The results of the study, published in Scientific Reports, show that as Liangzhu became urbanized, remains became ‘raw materials’ for functional use and symbolic craft objects rather than being seen as the remains of sacred ancestors.

5,000 year old discovery human bone cup and masks in china

The Scientific Reports study examined 183 human bone fragments for evidence of use as raw material for utilitarian or symbolic crafts. Of the total bones, 52 displayed distinctive features indicating deliberate modification. Skull cups are cranial vaults (the upper part of the head) that have been cut along the horizontal plane, and cranial masks are skulls that have been divided vertically. Both artifacts were apparently modified by scraping, drilling, and polishing, and these artifacts represent the first evidence of systematic human bone working during prehistoric times in East Asia.

Why did early cities recycle their dead?

According to researchers from Niigata University and the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, ‘anonymity’ may have inspired early urban residents to dispose of human remains in a physical way. In densely populated Liangzhu, since urban residents only cared for those they knew and recognized in life, urbanization led to increased social distance from the dead, resulting in many human remains being treated as ‘physical’ rather than sacred.

Technical analysis of bone remodeling

Technical analyzes also indicate that the Liangzhu people used a variety of technical methods to shape the bones. Examination of the bones using high-power magnification reveals striations and pits consistent with the use of stone tools in bone making technology. According to Phys.org, the bones were not only broken, but they were also bruised. In particular, long bones, such as the femur, were shaped into handles or fasteners for tools, while skulls were shaped and treated at a level of precision comparable to the world-famous jade carvings of Liangzhu.

Why were bone artefacts washed into the canals?

The Zhongjiagang area operates as an area for special workshops inside Liangzhu city. These altered human bones were discovered in trenches filled with trash along with animal bones and pottery fragments, indicating that these particular human remains did not serve sacred purposes, unlike the Fan Mountain site (a typical cemetery). The spatial distribution of human remains displays evidence of a complex social hierarchy that preserved elite bodies in jade-filled tombs while reviving non-elite remains as part of the city’s industrial process.

Bihar: Nitish Kumar left the center stage; BJP era begins. india news

Bihar: Nitish Kumar left the center stage; Beginning of BJP era

New Delhi: Janata Dal (United) supremo Nitish Kumar tendered his resignation from the post of Chief Minister on Tuesday BiharTo set the state towards a new era of politics. BJPSamrat Chaudhary is all set to take oath as the next CM.With Lalu Yadav out of active politics and Nitish Kumar now in the Rajya Sabha, it also marks the end of the long-standing political lineage that revolved around the ideals of Jai Prakash Narayan, Karpoori Thakur and Lohia after more than three decades.

Bihar’s DY CM’s puzzle for JDU, Nishant Kumar’s reluctance complicates NDA’s mathematics

Now, the Bharatiya Janata Party – which played second fiddle to Nitish’s JD(U) for a long time – is set to bring Samrat Chaudhary to the center stage as its new CM.end of an eraAfter the total revolution movement during the Emergency, socialist ideology deeply penetrated the state. JP took many young leaders under his control, many of whom later became big leaders of Bihar.Additionally, this was also the era of Karpoori Thakur, during which a new grammar of power emerged, where caste was not hidden under euphemisms, but was talked about as a politics of representation.

.

The convergence of these ideologies led to the emergence of the state’s two tallest leaders – Lalu and Nitish – who cemented the vision of social justice on which Bihar’s identity politics rests.Lalu, a popular leader known for his sense of humor, ruled for more than 15 years. After his fall, Nitish, popularly known as Sushasan Babu, ruled for the next 21 years, which ended on Tuesday.Rise of BJP in BiharHowever, it seems that Nitish’s exit plan was made long ago. After the National Democratic Alliance’s landslide victory and the BJP’s exceptional performance in last year’s assembly elections, rumors started flying that Nitish might step down from the top post, opening the way for the BJP in a state that is under its control and yet out of reach. The rumors proved true when one fateful day, Nitish announced his decision to leave the top post in Bihar for a Rajya Sabha seat to fulfill his personal desire to serve in all four legislative bodies – Bihar Legislative Assembly, Bihar Legislative Council, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.Although many had anticipated the move amid speculations about his deteriorating health, Nitish’s sudden announcement still surprised many who were expecting a smooth transition plan.JD(U) without NitishNitish Kumar remained the only star of his party for decades. Despite not winning an absolute majority on his own, his “good governance babu” image kept JDU at the center of Bihar politics. Nitish’s decision not only ended the political lineage of JP Narayan, Ram Manohar Lohia and Karpoori Thakur, but also threw his party into uncharted waters with no clear roadmap for the future. The party failed to form a strong second line of leadership. Leaders like Sanjay Jha, Lalan Singh and Vijay Chaudhary are present, but no one has a support base compared to Nitish.

.

Political analysts believe that there is also a possibility that JDU may merge with its ally BJP in the coming days, although such a move may not get unanimous support within the party.“There is also a possibility that BJP and JD(U) may merge in the future, although not everyone in JD(U) will accept such a merger. Many leaders may oppose this. Some leaders within the party may cross over to RJD, while others may join BJP,” political analyst Kumar Vijay told The Times of India. He said, “Earlier, JDU workers also voted for BJP candidates because they believed that Nitish Kumar would ultimately remain the chief minister. But now many staunch workers may refuse to support the BJP in future.”End of the road for JD(U)The situation changed between JD(U) and BJP in the last assembly elections, where BJP emerged as the “big brother”. In the 2025 elections, BJP became the largest party with 89 seats and 20.45% vote share, while JD(U) won 85 seats with 19.61%.After the landslide victory, the BJP started looking less like a coalition partner and more like a contender for the driver’s seat. It secured a major share in the Council of Ministers and Nitish Kumar also had to leave the Home Department.According to PTI, party sources admitted that there was a misunderstanding among workers over the role of Sanjay Jha and some other close aides of Nitish in the recent developments. He said, “Yesterday, when the Chief Minister visited the JD(U) office in Delhi, many party workers insisted that even after he steps down, the top post should not be given to the BJP. These views have been shown by all media outlets and, to an extent, reflect the sentiment prevailing in the party here.”“In Nishant (Nitish Kumar’s son, who recently joined the party), we have a young leader who is capable of replacing his father. However, we also know that our leader is unlikely to push for his son. But, at least, we should emphasize all the benefits that the BJP is currently enjoying, including posts like two deputy CMs, Assembly Speaker and the important home portfolio,” he said.“The BJP, on its part, is acting with swagger. Just look at the urgency with which it nominated Harivansh Narayan Singh to the Rajya Sabha, days after denying him a third consecutive term,” JD(U) sources said.

.

JDU workers have put up posters all over Patna urging Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant to take over the post of Chief Minister. The posters put up by “Nitish servants” called for Nishant Kumar to step into active politics, describing him as a “young leader” and urging him to “come out of the shadows”.The posters read, “We neither need bulldozers, nor riots or unrest in Bihar. We need a young public servant… now is the time for him to come out of the shadows.”What will happen to Nitish Kumar’s EBC vote bank?Over the years, Nitish has established himself as a prominent leader of the Extremely Backward Class (EBC), which forms a significant part of Bihar’s population. He deliberately built this support base by taking advantage of Karpoori Thakur’s legacy and focusing on economically weaker sections. His exit has raised the question as to who will be the successor of this vote bank. According to analyst Kumar Vijay, neither party looks well placed to consolidate non-Yadav OBC and EBC votes.Vijay said, “If Tejashwi Yadav had strong leadership capabilities, that vote bank could have shifted to RJD. But the biggest tragedy in Bihar today is the lack of strong political leadership. Congress does not have it, RJD also does not have it. Despite being a politically mature state, Bihar is facing a serious leadership crisis.”“Upendra Kushwaha has lost credibility. Tejashwi Yadav has not emerged as a grassroots leader.” LJP has also become a dramatic political organization. For Bihar, Nitish Kumar’s move to Rajya Sabha marks the end of a long political chapter defined by his leadership, changing alliances and ‘good governance’ governance model. The coming months will decide how JD(U) and state politics will evolve from them forward.
